I woke up this morning...and....
I CAN HEAR IN MY LEFT EAR for the first time in 4 weeks. I am filled with joy and elation!!!!! All of that yuck is finally starting to move in my head!!!! YIPPEE!!!!

I haven't had a drink in a while because of the meds I have been on to calm me down from all the wedding stress, but I stop them next week, so YEAH, champagne, wine, beer, here I come

Hey thanks you guys! I had a really bad day too and since you will all see me I am going to tell you why. I have skin cancer on my face. Not a really big deal because they take them off really fast and it is just an hour office visit, but today I had 3 "problematics" taken off and I have lovely black stitches on both sides of my face. The stitches come out Tuesday, but today I look a lot like frankenstien. I am hoping they will all be perfect by next monday, and they should be very very light then. The plastic surgeon who takes them off is really good and has done a great job in the past. I am bummed because I figure if I am going to a plastic surgeon I want something good. Anyway the anesthetic is wearing off and I am going to take a tiny pain pill to sleep for just tonight. Really this is not a big deal, I am just telling you why it was so cool to read all your posts! (and in case I still look like frankenstien)

I am very adament about being checked and make John go too. I am so surprised that the past few years my dermatologist has said everything is perfect but I do know it may take years for the damage to show.

Skin cancer is very serious and many people, esp in FL seem to not worry about it.

ya - isn't that wild???? I'm just glad I know what the mystery is about this time - I don't like being in the dark. Wait, I mean, I DON'T know what the mystery is about, and am just glad I wasn't around so that Becka didn't get me in trouble like that last time when Charlotte and I were here.

There will be 2 of us! I am the stereotypical redhead, with super fair skin, freckles and someone who burns in the slightest sun! I never tan - just burn. In fact I figure it is just a matter of time before I get diagnosed with skin cancer. I was a stupid teenager who thought it wasn't cool to keep having to put on sunscreen.

Me too, and redheads must be scarce in my neck of the woods because it seemed no matter what I was involved in I was the only one who was not tan, I tried though!

You are such a man (and that is not a compliment). I bet you know you will need clothes, underwear, socks, etc.. during a week away from home unless you plan on camping on deck 6. You don't need a list to at least start gathering items that you know you need. That would be fewer things that Kristina would have to worry about. Sheesh!

oh this is John as well, I can never roll up all the coins and trade in as he is afraid they are a good year or worth something. Very silly.
