Dh is sitting here chuckling because of Becka's nagging Andy. He wants everyone to know that we are not much better off than you, Andy. We have the formal items hanging all over the house. we have pirate stuff all over the house. we do have one suitcase packed. it has pirate items, some non wrinklable semi dress items, and the items for the school. DD & I finished the xmas cards, magnets, and name tags for everyone. I finished the stateroom door magnet. we are having a bit of a problem finding sunscreen that we can take through security. DD & DH cannot go out on the deck without some sunscreen. they burn in the shade. I can't seem to find any tubes that are 3/4 oz. I guess we can get it in the airport in orlando. I just can't believe how close we are.

It is very scarey how similar everyone's progress is. We need to get our collective butts in gear this weekend!!!

You are too sweet! Thank you, and my stitches are not supposed to get wet so I am going to stop crying right now. I really think all but one will be almost invisible. But I will be carrying the 10 pound bucket of sunblock!

There will be 2 of us! I am the stereotypical redhead, with super fair skin, freckles and someone who burns in the slightest sun! I never tan - just burn. In fact I figure it is just a matter of time before I get diagnosed with skin cancer. I was a stupid teenager who thought it wasn't cool to keep having to put on sunscreen.

Hey thanks you guys! I had a really bad day too and since you will all see me I am going to tell you why. I have skin cancer on my face. Not a really big deal because they take them off really fast and it is just an hour office visit, but today I had 3 "problematics" taken off and I have lovely black stitches on both sides of my face. The stitches come out Tuesday, but today I look a lot like frankenstien. I am hoping they will all be perfect by next monday, and they should be very very light then. The plastic surgeon who takes them off is really good and has done a great job in the past. I am bummed because I figure if I am going to a plastic surgeon I want something good. Anyway the anesthetic is wearing off and I am going to take a tiny pain pill to sleep for just tonight. Really this is not a big deal, I am just telling you why it was so cool to read all your posts! (and in case I still look like frankenstien)

Me TOO! I was the stupid redhead who thought one day I would just tan. HAHAHA Skiing every saturday without sunblock, summer lay outs, no sun block! Stupid Stupid. Why did we think that burn was so cool? I looked like a racoon!

Thanks Becka! I knew you all would understand! It's just been a wierd day with everyone staring at me. And yes, I am very very grateful to catch it early. Word to the wise everyone, pay attention to anything that grows on your face and does not go away.

Kim . There are going to be ignorant people no matter where you go or what happens to you. I haven't heard too many comments about it since becoming a SAHM but every single year on Ash Wednesday I would get stupid comments from people.

One redhead friend of mine figured that her freckles would increase and finally meet so that it would look like a tan!
