That's OK was reading PJ's post and since she said OBX....

SO you're going to do it again in 07?

We met John and his family back in 7/04 when we were in the first DIS group together. They have been going there for over 15 years. We have lived here for 12 years now. We look forward to it every year. :goodvibes The kids have a blast at the beach with Their DD & her cousins.

Oh I have to have that feature!!! When I was pregnant with DS and sewing the crib set DH was out of town on travel. I took a break but planned to go back to working on it. Evidently I had finished sewing because I turned off the machine. I ended up falling asleep for the night, got up, went to work, and came home for lunch. I found the iron plugged in & still on!!! :( :( :( Hormonal as it was, I freaked out. We were so lucky that nothing happened. :(
I think almost all irons are like that these days. You actually have to buy an iorn on purpose that stays hot. Sewers like them, Moms don't.

Not me Kim. The Sunday School President would be Brandi! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

You know, I wrote Brandi, then I thought no, you are wrong it's caroline. I should have stuck with my first thought. Sorry you two!!!

I am still not done with my research paper. I finally decided to write it on the controversial "Christmas music in Public Schools." The research part is finished. I just need to get it all pulled together. I will work on that for a few hours tonight while everyone is in bed.

It gets a little annoying when you have alot of stuff to iron to keep unplugging it but better safe than sorry.

yes that is what makes me very nervous. DH travels a lot and it is easy to get pulled away by the kids and just forget to go back and shut something off.

of course mostly I do it with the stove. For every one hard boiled egg I make I throw another one out ;)

The fire trucks came once when I over boiled the baby bottles. YIKES!!

I didn't even get that far...but that's okay with me! Next Tuesday is our December SS teachers and officers meeting. It will be the last meeting for the current pres. I will take over in Dec. It has the potential for being a "bad" meeting. She is still seriously giving me and anyone who she doesn't think voted for her a cold shoulder. I will have to keep you updated on that meeting!

I wear more makeup on the cruise than I usually wear at home. I can take it or leave it at home...but I will have it on every night of the trip!

That's me too. I picked up a red colour corrector stick w/foundation from physician's formula, it was try it out size, perfect for the cruise. I have very pink cheeks, I can't wait to try it out!

Good Luck! Based on what I just talked to our SS president about, she has more to worry about than politics. I hope yours goes away soon!

Can't sew. Can't help. Can buy you a drink. Let me know! :lmao:

Also Congrats on 1,000 Charlotte!!! It seems like just yesterday when you began posting for the library! :goodvibes
Won't sew. Won't help. Can help with the drink. Let me know!!!

My mom and DMIL do all of my sewing...I love to scrapbook....but I am anti-sewing!!! If I am forced to sew somthing...I will take it to the dry cleaner...or put it into the circular file!!!!

I finished my sub for santa today and took everything in. It is a good thing they set a limit for each child. I am always so sad when they ask for coats, gloves and snow clothes.... I just cannot control myself. Anyway done. Do you all have sub for santa too?

I sOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooo do not want to work on that paper...but I must...I must...be strong...get your crap done!!!!!

Please don't. Remember some of these folks have cruised together before. Some have visited together before. Just imagine you are at a party with multiple conversations going on. You can't keep all of it in your head. You can't know everyone's history. If you have a question, tap your neighbor and ask, "what was that about?"

LOL! Now include our music teacher who told the principal when she said no religious songs in the school presentation that you can't have a Christmas around the world show without singing European carols. :thumbsup2

I never wear makeup but I packed some for formal night and semi formal, etc.
I don't even own any anymore. I might wear chapstick but that's it.

Remember, I'm too lazy for contacts too.
