do you think we can post 804 times today before midnight EST? Is that a possibility Becka?

Sure - we have done more than that before. It just depends on how many people we have online today and how many times they are posting. :thumbsup2

My research paper is officially uploaded. Now I am going to take the final...then I will be done. I will wait to party until after the final.

Me being sick and then all this snow has really put me behind.

Sometime this weekend/early next week I have to do all of this:

* Go to Office Depot and get my door signs laminated and buy magnetic tape
* Go to the craft store and buy photo mats
* Go to the tire place to get my tires balanced
* Go to the toy store before tomorrow afternoon and buy a birthday present for the birthday party Nathan has tomorrow afternoon
* Go to the grocery store and buy or get the stuff to make the cheese and cracker tray I signed up to bring for my work Christmas party Sunday afternoon
* Buy a gift for the work Christmas party
* Clean out and vaccuum the car
* Clean the house at least a little bit - it needs it BADLY
* Finish all of my packing by Sunday evening
* Have a Parents as Teachers Meeting on Monday night after work
* Buy and watch POC: DMC on Tuesday evening
* Go to get my manicure/pedicure on Wednesday evening
* Pack the car and make last minute preparations on Wednesday evening

Try not to panic!!!!

Just a quick FYI--we were planning on staying at the Hyatt Orlando one night pre-cruise and the cheapest rate I could find was $199. per room (we need 2 rooms!). Took a chance this morning because Hotwire had a 3.5 star listed at Orlando Airport for $79.00 per night (after researching this topic on the boards). We got the Hyatt--grand total for 2 rooms--$181.00!!

Great deal!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I see the light. I SEE THE LIGHT!!!

You never made a snowman?!?! You will have to visit one of us this winter and give it a go!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

We might give it a try this afternoon but I am afraid we might have too much snow for it to work - especially for Nathan. Aaron put his tape measure just right outside our back door and measure 19 inches! :earseek:

a sandman yes.....snowman, no.

I tried to do an angel in the snow when my grandparents lived in CA, you could take a day trip and see snow, there was very small amounts on the ground, I tried, no luck.

Also, a guy I dated was in college and was from VA, we would go to VA for the holidays and it never snowed once! But that is probably a good thing.

Becka - Don't Panic! :thumbsup2

Now I'm full on sick.
I'm out of work today. The boss is really nice about it but it's month end/beginning and I am the (count 'em 1) bookkeeper to close out the month and report to corporate in Japan. Then I have 4 workdays to get the "front office" aka my desk ready for me to leave.

I'll probably use this day to do a little packing, laundry, type address labels. Or, I might just lay on the couch and whine. I'm on so much sinus medicine I'm wired and sleepy at the same time.

wow and at 8am it was 82 here....unreal! Does not feel like typical December weather here. Something strange is going on.

I am shocked...I thought you avoided the mall!!!!

I do, but I have some things to take back (which I usually never do either) and I have $30 in Kohl's money I don't want to waste. I can even do some Christmas shoping since it will only be Dina and me. Amanda is siked because she will get home forst and will be home alone for about 5 minutes. :rotfl:

Poor thing, get better soon!

And no one else can get sick!

My family included....Haley does have a crappy cough, but the kids at school seem to keep passing that around.

Wow, you people are chatty this morning! One week from right now... I think we will be loading the car. Flight is not until 2:30. Girls are going to school that morning, and we'll take them out early so it does not count as an unexcused absence. DS will probably go to preschool, too, so we can get the last minute things completed. Dogs have to get to the kennel. Then somehow, by mid-day, we have to pick up kids from 3 different locations and get to the airport! That morning will be INSANE.

Just think, DH will be doing this by himself. He HAS forgotten which school to go to before.

And he has to send in the early dismissal notes...
What time do you have to leave to get to PHL? Parking is always a pain there, too (we always use offsite, but you have to allow extra time for that)

Feel better, Patsy.
I'm doing my best to kill all of the germs around here. I think I mentioned the bleach the other day? Anyway, just ruined DS3's shirt this morning when I splashed some in the sink when he was nearby.

Thanks for the :grouphug: 's I'll feel better after I go to the Dr this afternoon I'm sure.

Here's something to lighten the mood.

As many of you may remember, I work in a small office with 6 men and 1 woman. We have a men's and women's bathroom. Now I know for a fact that some of them are going to pop into the women's while I am away. So what will be better to hang over the potty? (remembering that they face the "wrong way".

1. A target?

2. A picture of me?

3. A picture of the family on our last cruise?

4. Something else?
