Becka - Don't Panic!

Now I'm full on sick.
I'm out of work today. The boss is really nice about it but it's month end/beginning and I am the (count 'em 1) bookkeeper to close out the month and report to corporate in Japan. Then I have 4 workdays to get the "front office" aka my desk ready for me to leave.

I'll probably use this day to do a little packing, laundry, type address labels. Or, I might just lay on the couch and whine. I'm on so much sinus medicine I'm wired and sleepy at the same time.

wow and at 8am it was 82 here....unreal! Does not feel like typical December weather here. Something strange is going on.

It is 15 degrees here with a wind chill of 0!

Actually we usually get some snow and cold temps in December that is not unusual. The amount of snow is pretty unusual. Most snows in early December would be 2-3 inches at the most.

Here's something to lighten the mood.

As many of you may remember, I work in a small office with 6 men and 1 woman. We have a men's and women's bathroom. Now I know for a fact that some of them are going to pop into the women's while I am away. So what will be better to hang over the potty? (remembering that they face the "wrong way".

1. A target?

2. A picture of me?

3. A picture of the family on our last cruise?

4. Something else?

All of the above?

We went to the desk and there was only one other person there so we just waited. I guess the rebooking desk is busier on the 7 day cruises.

I can't decide if we should book a dummy date and then move it when the 2008 dates come out or if we should just wait and hope to get a good group rate or something later.

GOOD MORNING Fellow cruisers . I just got back in the house (thank-goodness). It's 3 degrees here, what's that for you guys-I think about 34? It's COLD, RAINY and very WINDY. I'm sitting here with my Tim Hortons French Vanilla Cappacinno keeping myself warm....yummy. .We are expecting freezing rain and snow-yuck. My kids love winter, I on the other hand can handle it from December 23rd to January 3rd then it needs to be gone. DH won't be comoing home tonight. The weather is too bad and the ferry from the island got cancelled. Hopefully it will run tomorrow and then he can be on the ferry for 8am, off at 9:30 and home to Kitchener by 12:30pm. I just hope he get's home by Monday since we are leaving MoOnday afternoon. Please say a little "good weather" prayer for us!

Holly that sounds awful! The good news is the winter schedule you described just about fits GA weather. Only its about Jan 1-Jan 15. Maybe you should consider moving here? Here's a little good weather dance for ya' . Oh wait, wrong dance. Try this one. .

I woke up this morning...and....
I CAN HEAR IN MY LEFT EAR for the first time in 4 weeks. I am filled with joy and elation!!!!! All of that yuck is finally starting to move in my head!!!! YIPPEE!!!!

for those staying on WDW propety in Dec have you heard about the new pilot repeat guest they are offering?
It's basically free dining...travel dates to return are 8/5-9/29 minimum 3 nights. $200 deposit. I think we may book it with a one day base ticket and use that ticket to renew our AP. Someone posted 8 nights at a value for 2 adults was $793 which included the dining plan.

No. We are looking either something special they do for the summer of '08 or early December for an Eastern - possibly the DIS Geeks reunion cruise?

DH does his own packing.

DH does his own packing too. I take care of the kids & my own. I use to pack for DH until I packed some clothes that um...didn't fit anymore but were still hanging in the closet. I do pack the special things like his pirate shirt, Mickey shirt, & matching tshirts.
