Reviewer on NPR liked it a lot . .

How about favorite Bond women, or favorite name . . .

I still can't believe "***** Galore" . . .

Makes Ivana in Austin Powers decades later seem tame . . .

John1

This is too funny . . .

What would happen if I was talking about a kitty or a willow?

Too funny . . . The DIS does not like Bond Characters!

Caught up, shower time and bed for Sophia!

I am surprised! I thought they were nation wide!
They are talking about making the road I drive to work a toll. NO!! It is the highway from Portland to the coast. OY. I will just take the backroads. We westerners do not take kindly to such things!

My DS is chasing my DD around between the kitchen, dining room, and living room with one of those WDW light chasers. It is the sorcerer Mickey one. She is laughing and they are both having a great time!! Now I need luck calming them down for bed!
Would these be some of the screaming kids we will hear in the halls on the Disney cruise?? ;)

Well . . .

Since the first color tv we had was when I was in my teens, they were all B&W to me - color TV was for the wealthy . . . In the 70's (probably around 1974 or so) my dad bought a used color TV from someone, and we thought we went to heaven - even though the colors were fuzzy around the edges, and a bit blurry.

Raised with color tv...Remember the older ones with dials. :lmao:

I remember my DGP's being the first people on the block to get a microwave oven. (My DGp's lived next door.) I was maybe 8-9 at the time. The family across the street were the first to have a VCR but my DGF was the first with a video camera... Some kids i knew had cable their whole lives. Our neighborhood never got it until i was in middle school (1985).

We had TVs with dials. No remotes back then. :rotfl2: We didn't even have cable until I was in my teens.

Well I beat DS at Disney Memory....barely! He had 17 matches and I had 19. It was his turn with the last 2 matches left and he picked wrong. If he had been right he would have beat me. That kid is really, really good at games. He beats us on a pretty regular basis and we are really trying to win! In fact I think we are the ones who need a handicap! :rotfl:

I'm liking this IPod! Don Williams - That's the Thing About Love -- I like Don Williams alot. We saw him at the State Fair a few years ago. Whoa! He just sat on a stool with his feet on a box and sang, and sang, and sang. No crap, just singing. He seemed genuinely surpriised when we gave him a standing ovations.

Oh, oh, Kenny Rogers. Lucille. Whoa! All my favorite guys! Well almost favorite except for DrHug.

I had to go to Wal-Mart after work tonight! Sorry John! I probably did a really crazy thing but while I was there it dawned on me that maybe a lot of these small personal items that I have to pack at the last minute (and therefore make them more likely to forget) could be bought now and packed now! :sad2: I bought new toothbrushes and toothpaste for everyone, new makeup for me, new deodorant, lots and lots of diapers and wipes, new sippy cups, etc.. My cart was FULL by the time I was done but at least I can get more packed now! ;)

It really is sad. At least you get to see some of the same outfits a couple more times. :thumbsup2 The good thing is that these are the holiday dresses that I have bought at 75% at Target. I pick up whatever is there at that point. DD is going to wear one Easter dress this time that I bought 3 years ago. I was shocked that it fits her now!!! It was HUGE when I bought it for her. :(

Lisa, remember when I told you my friend owned a dress boutique? I have a few incredibly gorgeous dresses if you need a lovely size 6 or 7? I can bring some extras, maybe the girls can have a fashion show. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

My DH is only 31 but he acts like a 13 year old...is he too old to wear shorts to dinner? :lmao:

I get prickley heat when it is too hot, can I wear shorts too?

I dug the silly metal base that came with the tree out of a box in the garage. We put the trunk in the tube in the middle of the base and VOILA!!! The tree stood straight up!!! The tree was reassembled.
We had a real tree go sailing out the front door and across the yard one year! :sad2: Was a trunk problem! :rotfl:

I am sure that someday when I die, someone will find all my bags of Disney souveneirs, and find all the pins I have bought over the years. They will probably find out I was sitting on a fortune in pins, and wonder why I just had them stashed away.

I really just buy stuff I like, and then do not know what to do with it? All these grand plans of putting them in a shadow box just never happens.
(and, I draw the geek line at wearing one of those lanyards around with 50lbs of pins around my neck)

(or carrying around one of those pin books - sorry Brack and Aaron)

John1
I buy duplicates when they are on sale at DD. DrHug has started trying to collect the CM pins. He trades his duplicates. :thumbsup2
