As much as I hate to say this, prices have gone up enough at our two local grocery stores that WM does have the lowest prices on alot of things. This was not the case last year. For example Capris Sun Juice boxes are regularly 3.69 at the store & the best they go on sale for here is 2.00 and rarely BOGO so 1.85 each. The every day price at WM is 1.67. Cheeze Nips are on sale for 2.00 each some times but they are only 1.50 every day at WM. Milk has been $1 cheaper there for two years now.

I use to be able to stay away from WM with double coupons & stockpiling with sales. That just isn't the case anymore since they stopped allowing you to use a coupon on each item with a BOGO sale. :(

Because DD and DH are so brand specific picky on milk and mostly eat fruit and very healthy meats WM has never worked for us. They are so produce picky it is tough for me at the best store when grapes are out of "the best" seasons. She drinks Cream of Weber or Winder Dairy chocolate milk almost exclusively (these are both more local brands) and we prefer the local cheeses and WM just does not stock those.

BUT, if I can get those prices on electronics on TG, dang that is a good deal!

Beta Max was actually before the VCR -the tapes were smaller - I think NEWS stations use to use Beta alot ...

Easier reading too! Some of us TV kids have short attention spans! :teeth:

BTW has anyone seen the advertising for Baby TV. It's supposed to be a learning channel for the 3m - 1 yr old crowd that's on 24-7.

I thought people were trying to get kids away from TV...***

Did anyone else see Happy Feet? I want to hear about Casino Royal. I just don't see him as Bond. So...who is your Bond?

Sean Connery (sp?)

If you are lucky! DS did fine with this but DD is one of those who end up being hyper when she takes it.

Dramamine makes DD CRAZY! She freaks out and yells at me for about 20 minutes then falls over asleep. Last year she told me I was JUST LIKE THE POST OFFICE! (we don't like the post office, specifically the passport people)

hereos people??!! is the cheerleader the Raising Helen girl?

Not a Heroes regular but watched this week to see all the hype...
I think she's the older daughter from RH.

We just got back from the DisDD Nov11-18th cruise. DCL is getting better and better with every cruise. You will have a blast. I was hoping that one of you would take a few snap shots of the Gingerbread House they started on our cruise but didn't finish by the time we left. If you wouldn't mind sending a few pictures of the completed house I would appreciate it. My six year olds were so excited watching it go up and get started that they were very upset it didn't get done before our trip was over. Please drop me an email if you can help out. Thanks Tammy.

OK, just did a quick camera setup (installed battery, CF card, etc), turned it on in full auto mode, and took a shot of Walt (obviously did not comb his hair that still needs to be cut, and I think there may be some lunch on his face...)
So, before I go off to learn more, here's the first shot to share.

MICKEYPLAN!!!

I am editing the first post to let people know that the website is closed for new data. I have received a couple of emails with info and will add those at some point but beyond tomorrow, which is two weeks before we are leaving, there isn't much time to catch up & fully participate with the group events. Besides the fact that with Thanksgiving and packing and life in general, things are just going to be too hectic for me to keep up with it & be ready to board the ship with you guys. :) Also, the dining linking, CM ruins tour sign up & Cozumel Jeep tour sign up are all closed.

Lisa,

Fair enough. You have done so much, and if you don't know you are going on the cruise by now, everything will be last minute so nothing we say here will make any difference anyway!

I remember my DGP's being the first people on the block to get a microwave oven. (My DGp's lived next door.) I was maybe 8-9 at the time.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I just saw this part of your post. I remember hearing how terrible those were growing up then one Christmas my mother got one for a gift. :confused3 Suddenly they were feeding us lots of this terribly unsafe food. :rotfl:
