Gotta go play Disney Memory with DS....I am sure he will win since he has all of my brain cells. I will be back later!

DH started taking all of the ornaments off of the tree. Wonderful idea. ;) We then cut the twine & take off the top & middle portions of the tree. I put the bottom of the tree on it's side to adjust the trunk in the base only to find.........

that the metal circle on the bottom of the base was broken and pushed thru the base....the real reason that the tree was leaning!

I dug the silly metal base that came with the tree out of a box in the garage. We put the trunk in the tube in the middle of the base and VOILA!!! The tree stood straight up!!! The tree was reassembled.

The kids have decorated the tree with me helping this time. It looks good once again and while I did space the balls out a bit when I placed them on the tree, I think that I hung some next to the same color!!! :lmao:

am I supposed to be getting a zip or flash drive? Something that transfers or downloads?

Yes, a small keychain (flash) drive for photos. So we can share our photos.

I am proud of myself! This morning I packed up the decoration boxes and took out the things that had been missed. I did hang up a few balls & ornaments on the top part of the tree that was barren but I didn't do it orderly & I didn't change anything that the kids hung. Balls are falling off and breaking since I didn't hang them and pinch the hooks closed around the branches but that isn't going to hurt anything as long as I pick up the pieces before someone steps on them. Thinking about this last night I realized that this is just another bad anal habit that I picked up from my birthmother. :sad2: This year is the start of something new here! :cheer2:

:thumbsup2 Lisa!

I get chastised if I say it all in one post. :confused3 I don't think that I have to worry about upping my post count. I'm just having fun. :)

we don't pin trade although I have an entire stitch set that are fully intended for trading. We buy the ones we like and usually have some sort of meaning to our trips...the F and W fest ones, the Halloween party ones - and let me tell you. We were in line and every person in line before us spent over $200 on the special party pins. (about 9 people).....I was shocked! I know we have spent a ton, DH had to have all the pirate ones...but not that much at a time!

I am sure that someday when I die, someone will find all my bags of Disney souveneirs, and find all the pins I have bought over the years. They will probably find out I was sitting on a fortune in pins, and wonder why I just had them stashed away.

I really just buy stuff I like, and then do not know what to do with it? All these grand plans of putting them in a shadow box just never happens.
(and, I draw the geek line at wearing one of those lanyards around with 50lbs of pins around my neck)

(or carrying around one of those pin books - sorry Brack and Aaron)

:) When we were redecorating the tree after it was straightened up the kids were talking about how much fun they were having. Apparently I let DS help me hang the ornaments with me last year but not DD. I told them that now they would both decorate it. I told them about some of the ornaments too...like the one from the White House that a friend living in DC gave me. They loved hanging that one up together. :)

Lisa you got me kind of nostalgic so I went back to first of this thread.

It was started on November 25, 2004 two years this week!

I was the 22nd post and the 10th person to post on the thread. One of the other 9 was never really on the cruise (HappyLawyer) he was booked on the Wonder during our cruise.

It has been a very long wait and I for one am ready but it has been a very fun ride on this thread!
:thumbsup2 :grouphug:

Brack! i have a really bad cold and can't breath through my nose, making me cry is not helping at all.

As much as I hate to say this, prices have gone up enough at our two local grocery stores that WM does have the lowest prices on alot of things. This was not the case last year. For example Capris Sun Juice boxes are regularly 3.69 at the store & the best they go on sale for here is 2.00 and rarely BOGO so 1.85 each. The every day price at WM is 1.67. Cheeze Nips are on sale for 2.00 each some times but they are only 1.50 every day at WM. Milk has been $1 cheaper there for two years now.

I use to be able to stay away from WM with double coupons & stockpiling with sales. That just isn't the case anymore since they stopped allowing you to use a coupon on each item with a BOGO sale. :(

That will last until those stores close.
(sorry Angie)
