I am editing the first post to let people know that the website is closed for new data. I have received a couple of emails with info and will add those at some point but beyond tomorrow, which is two weeks before we are leaving, there isn't much time to catch up & fully participate with the group events. Besides the fact that with Thanksgiving and packing and life in general, things are just going to be too hectic for me to keep up with it & be ready to board the ship with you guys. Also, the dining linking, CM ruins tour sign up & Cozumel Jeep tour sign up are all closed.

Here's my very first post on this thread, from this is your posting life . . . Post #218 on 7/11/05 . . . page 15 of the thread . . . when I was just John, not John1 . . .

Well, we were on vacation at the OBX of NC last week and met up with Lisa and her family and she twisted our arms - so here we are . . . We got the very last group room from DU, and now are cruising on 12/10/05 AND 12/9/06! Hard to believe as this is absolutely the FIRST time I have had us booked for two cruises at the same time!

Mrs. Mork, looks like we will be seeing you and your troop twice too!

DD Sophia (who will be 6 going on 7 at the time of this cruise and will be in first grade - also hard for me to believe)

I remember the original Bonanza. How about Big Valley? The question becomes do you remember them in B&W or in color. No comment on Amos & Andy - and he's not talking about the radio personalities. Not PC would be an understatement

Well . . .

Since the first color tv we had was when I was in my teens, they were all B&W to me - color TV was for the wealthy . . . In the 70's (probably around 1974 or so) my dad bought a used color TV from someone, and we thought we went to heaven - even though the colors were fuzzy around the edges, and a bit blurry.

Trapper John MD was an awesome show, I was really young, but I knew it was a connection to MASH which was the show I watched with my dad.

I dug the silly metal base that came with the tree out of a box in the garage. We put the trunk in the tube in the middle of the base and VOILA!!! The tree stood straight up!!! The tree was reassembled.

OMG! I'm afraid.I'm lucky if I ever get to put the folded clothes sitting in the hamper away never mind hang them up.

And we have been living out of the clothes baskets for the last several weeks . . once behind, impossible to catch up - especially with the DIS to DIStract you!

Is this Trapper John - the Trapper John MD show? Was he a bearded white haired fellow? If so, I believe my mom used to watch that. Along with Hotel (I think the name), Love Boat, Beauty and the Beast (I was a bit older), etc....of course I was not allowed to watch when I was there but she had an apt and I always layed in the floor of my doorway....I thought Connie Selleca was so gorgeous.

The battle rages - DH also says Sean, I grew up with Roger. He is more amusing as Bond. I concede though that Sean is without a doubt the sexiest. I was glad Pierce got to be Bond though because he was robbed of it.

I grew up with Roger Moore too . . . more funny without a doubt.

There are no DCL autograph books. Just the same ones that they have in the park. Major missed opportunity for DCL to make more $$$ IMO.

Also, on the tree thing my family is way happier now I don't care at all. DD never got to see that side, so she just thinks I am CRAZY!!!! Today we were singing if your happy and you know it and jumping. Do you know what happens to dishes on the counter when a fully and I mean fully grown adult jumps around. Can you say EARTHQUAKE!!!! But we laughed really hard!

So much has happened since then....

DH's Mom passed away Jan 05.... I got really sick after the holidays that year. Like flu sick. Then a couple weeks later got sick again real bad and it ended up that my GB gave up...

DH changed jobs after that. April 05. I sent in application for my current job January 06...after 6 months waiting was hired July 06.
