I just pop the cork beforehand and keep the bottle in the sack.

DrHug said:A friend of mine, and fellow VietNam Vet, was once asked what it was like to be in VietNam. His answer really hit home with me and made me realize why I was so stressed all of the time too. He said to think about the 'Scaredest' you ever been in your life, then multiply that by 24 hours a day for 365 days. THAT was it exactly. I did 2 tours and was a mess with me and I'll Kick Your A** kinda person and that was not good. SO, now I am DrHug, and have adapted to the PTSD on my own. It's just not worth it to stress to death. I still get tweaked once in awhile, by something or someone, but am able to instantly cool down. Not to say I was a bad guy running around looking for trouble, but I did have a temper problem and if someone mistreated someone in a bad way, or cussed in front of my kids, or was overtly threatening in any way, I was in their face. Laughter and not taking life so seriously is much better. AH, poor MrsMork. How she must have worried about me.![]()

Sorry. But, hey....this is a good place to vent... I usually don't open up about that stuff too much. But...
I Feel Good.....................James Brown.
By the way....Happy Veteran's Day to all you Veterans out there. I was bunkered up for the weekend. And to all of the Awesome guys serving everywhere. I Salute you. I know the guys in Iraq and Afghanistan are feeling what I just described. God Bless you all.

US???? COMPETITIVE????becka said:Until we are the #1 thread on the Cruise Meets board butwe are not supposed to mention it for fear of being banned and considered competitive.
becka said:Sure...I'll just put DS in charge of holding on to DD in front of him. Surely they won't follow that for us the whole time will they? I or DH will more than likely have to be holding DD.![]()
Oh, had not thought of this!! DrHug??dh chrisva said:Speaking of Lime.....
Any DH's out there gonna wear a Lime colored tie on formal night?
But you have 3 opportunities to wear a tie. Formal, semi formal and PaloDrHug said:GOOD IDEA! I will go in search of. ALthough I may have to switch, because I like my yellow Mickey and Goofy silhouetted under a plam tree on the beach tie.
They should reissue that one in Lime Green.

And it didn't take us very long either!!dh chrisva said:Thought i would get into the spirit of LIME...
came up with the idea the other day since i have the black suit and white shirt why not a lime tie![]()
Not really into flashy ties or ties at all, but see how this thread corrupts yoou..![]()
Go ahead and risk it. People will hear you call their names anyway!becka said:That is exactly what DH said and it makes sense. I guess I will make them each a small sign.![]()
Thank you. I was hoping you were still on and would say that. Vanessa, listen to DrHug. Go to urgent care today if you can't get into Dr.DrHug said:V. Go in and see the Dr. As soon as you can. Any pain, fever, dizziness, upset stomach?
lbgraves said:Well, DD didn't care for it either at 3. It was with the old jackets that she could barely see over the top & they covered her ears. The CM let me hold her after a few minutes. It was actually easier to have her stand in front of DS than try to hold her with both of us in jackets.

Good for catching Babes too! We like it when you guys are all spiffed up!DrHug said:Yep. I know what you mean. I have a big tie collection, but I never wear a tie much. The Mickey tie I was referring to is pretty subtle too. I am all for doing away with ties PERIOD. What a useless item of clothing. Although, it is good for catching food dribbles. LOL !
goofyforlife said:I got an email from my Dsis today......
Her and her DH are both in Air Force Reserves. My BIL (also an Andy. HA, HA) got back from a year of active duty about 18 months ago. He was in Kuwait for awhile, then back here in Dover, then at Ramstine in Germany.
Dsis was a wreck during that time with a 1 yr old and such.... (Which is how my 16 mo Dnephew ended up on the Sept 04 Wonder trip with us)
Now my Dsis is working full time for about the last year and her DH is being called up again. They say it's only for 6 months though... But the sad part is that this time they are required to take their weapons with them.
Guess where .....
Afghanistan.... They won't have any kind of cushy jobs either. It's kinda a guard the plane while we fix it or load stuff and don't get shot at or your head blown off.....
He leaves Jan 15th..... My Dsis's b-day is the 16th (There's a present)
To top matters off...Her base is closing and their unit is being relocated and they want her in a unit that travels to FL for duty weekends....Like yah with a 3 yo..... I wish i lived closer so i could help her out...She's in NE Philly.

They allow little ones to be held. It only takes about 5 min if everyone shows up when they are supposed to and does what they are told.becka said:Sure...I'll just put DS in charge of holding on to DD in front of him.
