Something weird is going on with me today and no I have not been drinking or taking drugs. When I stand up, it's almost as if I can't feel my legs are there. After lunch it sort of went to my arms as well. I don't know what is going on...but I am worried. I don't even know how to describe it to my dr without sounding crazy.

GOOD IDEA! I will go in search of. ALthough I may have to switch, because I like my yellow Mickey and Goofy silhouetted under a plam tree on the beach tie.
They should reissue that one in Lime Green.

Thought i would get into the spirit of LIME...

came up with the idea the other day since i have the black suit and white shirt why not a lime tie :)

Not really into flashy ties or ties at all, but see how this thread corrupts yoou.. :smokin:

V. Go in and see the Dr. As soon as you can. Any pain, fever, dizziness, upset stomach?

Hey Patsy,

How about those Atlanta Falcons?

:happytv: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao:

They LOST to my hapless Browns!

Like they say, even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in a while . . .

I think DH watched some of that game then switched to raking leaves.

I've always thought the Falcons were too big for their britches ever since they insisted they needed a DOME to play in Georgia! My taxes at work thank you.

Oh! Arthur Blank (Falcons Owner) has one of my quilts! I didn't get to speak to him, just one of his assistants, but the quilt is on his boat!

Bet you didn't think I could turn football talk into quilt talk did ya?

My mom has been watching the kids for me today. I am scrapbooking 10 cookbooks and 5 calanders for chirstmas gifts. My grandmother passed away 2 weeks after my DS was born. I am taking 22 of her best recipes and making them...along with some of her pics. It is turning out really well...but it is hard for me (emotionally.) She was the first person to pass that was someone really important to me. She and my Grandfather were the farmers and they gave land to each of their kids..so we all lived on the farm. She had 4 children and 6 grandchildren. I am making a cookbook for each. I will give them out at our family Christmas party. We are having it really early this year because my immediate family will be in Disney. I must have them complete by the first Sunday in December. The only people who know about the cookbook other than my DH are one of my aunts (she had access to the recipes) and my Grandfather (I didn't want to surprise him and upset him at the party.) My grandmother was a fabulous cook. In the winter she would bake about 500 pies plus cookies and cakes each week for market (they were produce farmers and this was their income when there were no crops.) In the spring she would continue with the pies and add candy for easter. I included a few pie and candy recipes. I also included the recipes for the dishes she would make for holidays. Anyway, I need to get back to that.

Brandi, what a special gift for your family!! :)

Yep. I know what you mean. I have a big tie collection, but I never wear a tie much. The Mickey tie I was referring to is pretty subtle too. I am all for doing away with ties PERIOD. What a useless item of clothing. Although, it is good for catching food dribbles. LOL !

V - I hope you start feeling better.

I was nosey and poked my head into the 12/2 cruise meet thread and it looks like some got their documents today so that means we should start seeing ours perhaps next week!!! :yay: I never got around to doing the on-line check in so I guess I will have the big stack of forms to fill out.

I was really just wondering because I was hoping not to have to stand outside the whole time trying to keep my kids in line. However you do bring up an interesting point. If I am going down I want to go with a bunch of my friends in the boat with me! :lmao:

Karen - Don't they usually line you up by stateroom number? That means you are the lucky winner of the "Has to stand next to an upset preschooler who wants to take off his clothes and an upset toddler would rather try to escape while throwing a screaming fit than wear a life jacket and be patient with the life boat drill while Mom (that's me ;) ) prays for it to be over quick so she can drink away her frazzled nerves at the sailaway party" Contest!!! :woohoo:

You have to line up with everyone in the stateroom in the same line tallest to shortest but the rooms don't have to be in any order.

Actually I was wondering what it would cost at some point to send this thread to a company and see if they could format it and bind it is some way then we would have a real book to read! It might be a best seller!!!! :thumbsup2 We could all make enough money in royalties to pay for future cruises together which in turn would lead to continued sequels to our book! :lmao:

I got an email from my Dsis today......

Her and her DH are both in Air Force Reserves. My BIL (also an Andy. HA, HA) got back from a year of active duty about 18 months ago. He was in Kuwait for awhile, then back here in Dover, then at Ramstine in Germany.
Dsis was a wreck during that time with a 1 yr old and such.... (Which is how my 16 mo Dnephew ended up on the Sept 04 Wonder trip with us)

Now my Dsis is working full time for about the last year and her DH is being called up again. They say it's only for 6 months though... But the sad part is that this time they are required to take their weapons with them.

Guess where .....

Afghanistan.... They won't have any kind of cushy jobs either. It's kinda a guard the plane while we fix it or load stuff and don't get shot at or your head blown off.....

He leaves Jan 15th..... My Dsis's b-day is the 16th (There's a present)

To top matters off...Her base is closing and their unit is being relocated and they want her in a unit that travels to FL for duty weekends....Like yah with a 3 yo..... I wish i lived closer so i could help her out...She's in NE Philly.

Yes it is!!

Also - the sangria....the TR writer is holding out until she finishes up her report the details. I had not heard of it on DCL before...has it been discussed on the boards and I missed it?

The horror!

If you are taking a bottle of wine to dinner, I would expect the corking fee to apply. :confused3

Okay, quick question.. I know we're not allowed to iron clothes in our rooms, but does anyone know about steamers? It's probably a no too, huh.... I plan to send our dress clothes out to be pressed on day one but my pirate shirt is rayon and wrinkles easily. Guess I might have to send that out as well....
Arrrrg pirate: Pirates wear their clothes wrinkled or use the valet service!

Good gravy! I'm about 1,000 posts behind! :scared1:

Sure...I'll just put DS in charge of holding on to DD in front of him. Surely they won't follow that for us the whole time will they? I or DH will more than likely have to be holding DD.
