Hello All,

I haven't posted here before. My family and I (will be on the Dec.09 sailing, and though I had every intention of laying low and keeping my head in the sand, I just had to post my good news to you all!

On Jan 31, 2006 we booked this cruise as Cat. 12 GTY for $2976.

Today, the price is: $2149.32.

I called DCL and got a price adjustment of $797 tonight! Can you believe that? So, if you haven't checked the pricing lately, you may want to take a peek...............

really ya'll - she was chasing cows! (unless Pierre was over there!!)

Lisa - the kids look FANTASTIC!! The school does a nice job with the borders and all!

So, are we ready for another DIS geek food debate...cranberry sauce: the jelled stuff in a can, or the relishy stuff with cranberries in it?

The relish kind with oranges mixed in

DH called a little bit ago. He is getting ready to leave the office and go to dinner. He will stop on the way to the hotel. Where? DTD!!! I wish that I had known that he was that close! I would have contacted Jordon. He picked up a couple of things for the kids. DS is now getting the monorail set for his birthday and DD is getting a princess backpack. He said that he would probably walk around the stores tonight since he doesn't leave until 10:30 tomorrow. :)

Paul and I can't wait to purchase another freezer so we can purchase a cow, well, probably 1/2 a cow for us and spliting the other 1/2 with family. My BIL did this one year and we ate kings :sunny:

That is actually only 1/4 of a really big cow. Those shelves are packed and you can't see all the meat behind. It is full from the front to the back of each of those shelves!

I didn't really think about it but we could also get 10% off so we would be looking at under $1500 so half the cost of our current Cat 9 room. That is almost too much to pass up? How much smaller at the Cat 11 rooms than a 9?

You still remember it don't you, even without working it off????

Yes, but the thing that I can really visualize is my mother getting upset at the manager because he wasn't being harsh enough with me. LOL!

Hi Becka,

Well, I'm not sure but on our 3 day wonder cruise last January, we were in a Cat 11, and my friend was in a Cat 9, and I remember thinking that the difference wasn't that big.

But, who am I to say? That was on a 3 day cruise. Maybe after 7 days of being with my family in those quarters, even a foot of space may feel like a mile!

I sent an E-Mail to DU to see what the price would be. $1500 would be enough to pay for our WDW trip next year.

While I am waiting here are some new pictures.
