So Karen is going all the way to Baltimore to catch her flight? I though someone was going out of Philly on the 8th. Maybe Marielle?

We are flying home thru Philly on the 16th.

You all are making me feel really extravagant. I really don't want to move, but your rates are sooo goood!!!! You know what, I have already paid and I want the midship cat 3 so I am going to sit here until I talk myself back into it. (+hubby will be happier )

I am back at the hotel now - getting ready to go to a reception with great munchies . . .

Remember when Amy was gone in Minnesotta a while ago? Well let me tell you, she needs some good wishes now while I am gone . . .

She had the day from you know where this morning. She took the dog out and locked herself out of the house this morning. Of course, Sophia would not wake up, her mom would not wake up when she called, and I am the only one who would answer a phone.

She finally got her mom, and she went to my folks to get the spare key. She took Sophia to school (Late) got back, and realized she was locked out AGAIN!

(We do not keep a house key on our key ring - we have a coded entry for the garage, and I NEVER lock the bottom lock on the door inside - which locks when you shut the door. With me not home, Amy locks ALL the locks)

Amy may not complain here - like I did for comedic relief- but she has had a ROUGH day.

(And then I find 30 pages to catch up on!)

HP - about 4 months old so I'm hoping that it might be built better to withstand these mishaps. It was an almost full glass of diet pepsi... and I didn't notice right away There was probably a good 10-15 seconds... my back was turned. My swivel desk chair actually knocked over the cup, as I turned around in my seat. Ugh. I usually don't even keep my glass where it was... it was just too much flukey stuff.

I wonder if I can get some good $$ on ebay for parts... the screen is gorgeous and still brand new!

I think it could becasue the 12 gty is a magical rate right now and has a different code....

Therefore they wouldn't be able to combine and dropped my early booking discount...

Thank you, thank you Kristina! I just got $96 knocked off our flight. DH is thinking of going to Dallas in January and it should cover most, if not all of his flight! I did have to change the return flight to an hour and 20 minutes later. He may not be too happy about that, but oh well.

Speaking of the place that pays me .... tomorrow we start with a staff meeting at 8AM ...... then at 10:45AM the Baltimore City Command has their "Kettle Kick Off" at the inner harbor (we are there) ...... then we have our employee Thanksgiving luncheon ...... then I have meetings all afternoon for budget work.

All of this without doing any of my routine work that will just pile up until the next day!

I am guessing you won't be able to sneak any DISing in tomorrow from work. In a few weeks those times and demands will look a whole lot different when they are for going to something fun!!

I have to get on my signs as well. Someone....ripped my Jack Sparrow!!!

A nice DIS'er designed it for me, I printed it out and put it on the fridge.....I am pretty sure it was Samantha, but she said Haley did it. I didn't know that magnet paper can be ripped. I guess I need to put it up higher.

V, I think kids can destroy just about ANYTHING!

Just a heads up -- I will be hit and miss for a couple days... I spilled soda all over my laptop last night and it's drying out as we speak. I hope I manage to catch it quickly, but until I can get it to boot up, I'm only posting from work. Our 2 desktops in the house both have faulty wireless adapters and my old laptop is hit and miss as well... ahhhhh I'm without internet??!!

So I will try to check in from work but it's a busy week. Cross your fingers that my laptop didn't suffer too much damage. It's not even 6 months old and it was an expensive one - made to be a desktop replacement!

Friend of pants-less boys, take note: I had to pick up DD13 after school today. So of course I had to take Walt in the car with me (he did want to stay home by himself, but ... no.) He did not want to put his pants back on, and I was out of time. So I picked him up and loaded him in the car seat, on this cold rainy day, in a shirt and underwear. Threw his blanket over his legs so no one could see that I let my son go around with no pants, no socks, no shoes in November!

I can usually convince Dina to get dressed, but have also resorted to the same thing.
