A parent verbally and physically attacked opposing team members at a football championship game for 10-and 11-year-olds, according to police.

Police in Lower Paxton Township arrested Marianne Jackson after she allegedly kicked, pushed and swore at players and coaching staff of the opposing team at Landis Field Sunday afternoon.

According to witnesses, Jackson became mad when her son was injured as the result of a tackle.

The woman's son suffered a concussion as a result of the hit.

An off-duty police officer at the game attempted to defuse the situation by escorting Jackson off the field.

But according to police, Jackson shoved and kicked the officer as well as others in attendance as she left the field.
Holy Cow...what a nut. I can't even imagine someone doing something like that!

I am thinking closer to Orlando . . .

(How about V's house? It is a million dollar abode after all!)

Don't I wish, while I know we could sell for much much more than we paid, but this house is not worth that at all. I think with my neughbor's house it's all about the water. Other parts of the country 1m will get you a WHOLE lot more house. And you won't be looking at our "jungle"!

For goodness sakes, I am not going to tell you what my kitchen looks like, but if you've been in 50's Prme Time Cafe. Well, you get the idea. (we should have done the kitchen instead of the pool)

I came home not feeling well today. I went to bed at 11:30 and just got up around 3....Not sure what is going on but I am heading out to get the girls.

For those of you without spouses on the Boards - you are much smarter than me!

First, distract Amy for a minute, so she won't read this.

"Honest, I have wanted to buy them dear, just like you said I should."

"It wasn't until the folks on DIS told me all the places they are available besides Yuk-mart that I could find them."

Yeah - I'm just glad the article doesn't mention the school's name.

Everyone having a quiet day?
Love all the pictures of the cute kids! Thanks for sharing!

wow that's some commitment!!! the girls are lucky to have you. But I think that if your child is participating that you should be expected to contribute on some level - time or money.
While this is true and we certainly encouraged participation by all at some level, we never excluded a girl because parents wouldn't participate. What we found was that those were the girls that really, really needed scouting and leaders who cared enough to not care if parents did not participate.

Well, where ever we finally decide on, you HAVE to be part of the township because we really need a Sunday School teacher to say nothing of the school. ;)

Wow Karen! Although it seems over the top, it would also be interesting to know what they did to her son to give him a concussion!

My DS yelled from his bathroom that he was helping me clean. I went back to see what he was cleaning...sure enough...he was scrubbing the sink with hand soap and his Thomas toothbrush. He was so proud of himself!!!! AAAHHHHH!!!!!
