O.K. then, this is good! As I'm completely confused now as to what to get.


What I had: Toshiba Qosmio.


Did not like: Waaaaay too many bells/whistles.


What I need it to do: DISing (have to keep the priorities straight), sending/checking emails, sending/storing pics, basic word processing.


What should I buy?


(Keep in mind, it has to be either in a BB store or ordered from their website).

No, Caroline. The DCL dining coordinator isn't on the ship. She does the seating assignments for each cruise. That is why I suggested having a card made that we can all sign on the ship & send it to her with our group picture.

So who is the dining manager and how/why would you tip him/her?

They actually now have a mac that does windows as well ...will help make the transition better ....When our computers go we are heading to MAC ...I am so done with PC ..

Isn't it amazing what dogs can do!? How is JoJo on such long car trips? Makes friends easily huh?

JoJo does great. He sleeps on my wife's lap most of the time while we drive.

In the room he stays in a kennel. The hard part is taking him outside during the night when you are in the middle of a hotel.

oh, you are easy - most things would fit your needs. I admit to being biased but I work on both Windows and Mac and I was/am a power user on windows and I love Apple products. Their iLife suite is fabulous.

There are two dining managers in each dining room. They are in charge of everything that happens there. If you want to have your rotation changed or request a certain server, that is who you go see at the Palo resie place. They are usually at the front of the dining room directing traffic. If they did something special for you regarding special dietary restriction help or made a change in seating for you while on the cruise, that is the time you would offer a tip.
