12/04/08 3 night on the wonder: My Wedding Cruise!

Coming from the North East of England When we leave for our flight it will be freezing here so we will be wrapped up. Hopefully what we wear will do us incase it get's a bit chilly when we are over there. If not we will buy some sweatshirts there.
I have always managed this way when we have been in December.

I will be packing some swimsuits. I am hoping we get to take a dip in the water at CC, as last year it was too hot. After our bike ride we were sooooo hot, we just wanted to go back on the ship and cool off. I never even got to dip my toe in the water Fingers crossed this year

You're welcome! I'm so excited that we have a decent size group participating! I'm trying to check the boards every day to see if there are any newbies on our thread, but it's usually more like once every two to three days. But, I'm sure I'll be like you and once we get closer to cruise date I'll be on the boards more often!

Hi! My weekend is going ok. I worked extra hours at my dad's office this morning to earn some extra $$$ for the vacation. I'll be going in again tomorrow to work some more. It's just boring paperwork, nothing difficult, so it's pretty easy money! The only bad thing about it is I work full time during the week, and working the weekends cuts into my family time, my housecleaning time, and my laundry time! But, the extra $$$ is nice to have, too!

Right now we're getting ready to go to a Halloween party. We're pretty excited about it, it's at our friend's house and this is the fifth year they've had this party. Last year we missed it because we were at Cedar Point.

We actually had snow flurries in Chicago today...brrrrcicles, I am not ready for this weather. I had to check the weather in the Bahamas, and it's going to be 81 degrees tomorrow.

I'm in Northwest Indiana...we had snow flurries here too! I'm not ready for this weather either. It's supposed to get down to the 20's tonight. But it's supposed to be in the 60's on Friday. Let's hope the weather forecasts are right!!

Also, Bolt is going to be released 11/21...do you think it will run on the ship on 12/4?

The weather was amazing in Chicago. We had more trick-or-treaters than we ever have in the past. Everyone was outside enjoying the weather. What part of MI are you from?

Ok, everyone, I just booked the parasailing excursion at CC...I booked it for 3:00 so it doesn't cut into my beach time! I'm a little scared because I'm afraid of heights, but everyone I've talked to that's parasailed says it's very peaceful. I spent five hours last night putting together the goodie bags for the kids on the fish extender list. I'm going to Michael's today to get some stuff for the adult's goodies.

I have watched somebody's video when they parasailed on CC on youtube and it looked amazing!

Michelle, I'm already getting nervous just thinking about it. But it's one of those things that I keep saying that I'll do next time I go to Disney or on DCL, and we go every year and I chicken out every time. But now that I've actually RESERVED it, I don't think I'll back out! My brother went sky diving earlier this year...talk about BRAVE! THAT'S something I'll NEVER do! But, I figure if HE can go sky diving, I can certainly do parasailing! At least if something happens on parasailing, MY parachute is already OPEN!

Hi, Michelle. We had alot of trick-or-treaters too (over 100). Our whole weekend has been nice . I'm sure that will be coming to an end very soon .
We are 35 minutes north of Detroit.
I've been to Chicago twice . Both times I had to order chicago style pizza one day and go to the cheesecake factory the other YUM YUM.
