How big of a tree is it?

The one we have for OKW is 3 1/2 feet tall. We are having requests that overlap the dates already taken. If anyone is interested in joining or has a second tree to donate, please let me know!

You can see, from the posts on OKW tree exchange, more dates needed. There is also a request for Dec 20-30 waiting for a tree. Thanks everyone.

Yes, 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 feet works well. It is not too big too fit in a studio, and it is not oversized so that the shipping costs remain reasonable.

Ok then we have one we can donate to SSR if we can have it in our room for part of our trip. I don't know that I want to take on managing it though. I'll just need to be told what I need to do to get it to the resort as I have no clue. We also don't need it back at the end so someone else can take it.

I guess if no one else wants to manage it in the next week or two then I'll do it but if someone else can that would be great.

Ok thank you We're there from December 8-19 so maybe if we can have it for 4 or 5 days in that timeframe somewhere. We can see what dates other people are looking for and work around that.

Ok, I will list it as such. You can ship down your tree beforehand if you have one to share. We drove to Disney the last 2 times we went, and we mailed the tree beforehand. Last year, we ended up canceling our trip, so the tree went to OKW even when we didn't!

It is up to you, but you may want to wait until you have a tree before you start the sharing thread. Thank you so much!

Will there be final directions/instructions posted here or will they just be in the box?
I know I sent in my e-mail address...

Just curious as this is our first DVC exchange and I want to make sure I do everything I'm supposed to.
I think it will be fun to add an ornament and/or a little something in the box for the next family!

OH! And I'm not going to tell DH at all!! I can't wait till he sees the box and we take out the tree! Thanks all for helping to make our vacation extra special!

The coordinators for each resort will get you the final information to you, whether posted on the thread, emailed, or PM'ed.

If you end up being the tree donor, you bring or ship the tree to the resort in a box, usually via FedEx or UPS. Getting a prepaid label to ship it back to you at the end of the exchange is nice, and it makes things easier at the end. The tree will have the names and dates of all exchangers on the outside of the box. When you are done, you cross your name off of the box and take it to Bell Services. They hold the tree in storage until the next family arrives and picks it up.
