My son's wearing a 5.5 or 6, depending on the shoe, at age 9, so a size 8 at age 11 seems pretty reasonable to be since it's approximately one full size per year for my son to be at the same place.

(ETA: I am so bad about checking to see if I'm posting on a zombie thread or not. And this one repeatedly returns from the dead for some reason, LOL!)

love these zombie threads. My eldest son that i mentioned in this long ago thread is now a size 13 and he's 6'3". How did your son Magical Mom come out to be?
