ds wore a size 9 men's at 11. He is now in a men's 10 1/2 at 13. Dh wears the same size and is 6'2". Ds is 5'3" and is getting very frustrated about not having a growth spurt yet. He's been adding about 2 inches per year since he was small, but alot of the boys in his grade have shot up since last school year. Since I'm 5'9" and Dh is over 6', I keep telling him it's just a matter of time. His current goal in life is to be taller then me.
Ds was over 21" at birth and weighed 7' 12 oz. The nurses told me to be very happy that he came 3 weeks early! So far no signs of puberty.

Seems like a lot of old threads are popping up today.
My son just turned 11 1/2. His shoe size is 12 extra wide. He is 5'8" and about 140lbs! Huge. He passed me in height several months ago and is about to pass DH in shoe size.
Here is an interesting link for you.
http://parentcenter.babycenter.com/calculators/heightpredictor/?s_evar2=height predictor&s_prop2=height predictor
It is a height predictor. Takes into consideration parent height. I've been tracking my son with it for a few years and it always says he will be 6'5 at age 18. I hope he ends up a bit shorter than that. It is fun to look at anyway.

I used that calculator for fun on my "kids" who are now grown and mostly grown. It was several inches high at age 2 for all three of them. My older son who is now 25 was predicted to be 5'8" from age 4 on, and that is just about exact. My younger son is 16, so he may still grow. For the ages that I did between 4 and 10, it said 5'9" (about where he is). Based on his 15-year old height, though, it's saying 5'11"...we'll see. My 22-year old daughter's jumped around by a few inches but it pretty much landed her in the right vicinity.
Didn't realize that I got caught in an old one! And I don't see how to delete my post...
I am 11, and my shoe size is a 9, but for a 11 year old the average shoe size is 7. When you are 12 your size should be 8. So it should grow one size up everyyear.
