11 yo boy shoe size

I'm sitting here reading all of these posts and I'm just amazed on the large feet size of these 11 year old boys!!!!!!!!

Well, I guess my DS 10, has small feet or he'll spurt up when he hits 11!

DS will be 12 in December and he wears a 6 1/2 (he is 5'2). I thought he was average but after seeing some of these posts he is a shrimp!

I am 5'3 and dh is 5'11. I wear a size 5 shoe. My friend say I have "sample" feet.

MagicalMom --- I originally would have said, yes, your son's feet is big for an 11 year old, but I read every one of these posts and I guess my son has average feet (maybe small?). My DS10, who just turned 10, is a size 5.5. And he's one of the tallest in the class.

How tall is your son?

4'9" Not very tall. He's been going to bed at 7pm every night so we are thinking that a growth spurt may be coming very soon!

My 11 y/o's feet are the same size as my 15 y/o's foot. A size - 10 in mens.

My son is a little guy. He'll be 9 next week and is only 4'5" and weighs barely 50 pounds. He wears a size 4 shoe. However according to that site posted earlier he will be 5-11 at age 18. That's okay for our family. We are all kind of short.

DS14 is 6'3" and wears a 13. Probably 14 by now

I think at 11 he was wearing about a 10, but it's hard to remember. That kid was 23" long at birth and hasn't stopped growing yet. At school they call him Tiny.

DD9 (almost 10) has huge feet. She wears a womans 9.5. I really wish she'd stop. She's already 5'3" or 5'4".

Sounds like my oldest. He is 12 1/2 and is 6'0" tall and wears a size 14 shoe. He was 23 inches at birth and weighed almost 11 pounds.

Dr says he will probably grow another 6-7 inches, as he has just started puberty in the last few months.

ds wore a size 9 men's at 11. He is now in a men's 10 1/2 at 13. Dh wears the same size and is 6'2". Ds is 5'3" and is getting very frustrated about not having a growth spurt yet. He's been adding about 2 inches per year since he was small, but alot of the boys in his grade have shot up since last school year. Since I'm 5'9" and Dh is over 6', I keep telling him it's just a matter of time. His current goal in life is to be taller then me.

Ds was over 21" at birth and weighed 7' 12 oz. The nurses told me to be very happy that he came 3 weeks early! So far no signs of puberty.

My son wears a size 10 in Men's shoes. He is almost 13 years old.

I seem to remember my "little" brother was hitting the double digits about that age. By the time he hit the teens he was in 13 to 15 size range. He is now 30 years old, 300+lbs, 6 foot 7 inches tall, and a size 17EE shoe. His goal growing up was to be able to see over the fridge, now he has to bend down to see between it and the cabinet! My mother says how can someone that only weight 7lbs when he was born grow to such a big boy!?

My son, 13 yo, wears an 11 1/2 shoe and is 5 feet 7 inches tall. Psssssssttt... he was a premmie at birth!

My 11 year old wears a men's 7 WIDE. He's 5 foot 6 inches, which appears about average in his group of friends.

His two best friends: one is not even 5 foot tall yet and wears a size 4 shoe still, the other is over 6 foot tall and wears a size 11 shoe....my son is the one in the middle.


Working w/this age group, I can tell you one thing....not a single one of them grows at the same rate. We've got middle schoolers who have pushed thru puberty and others who won't see it for a few more years.

My 10 year old wears a men's size 9!!

Shoes are our biggest expense for him. He is 5'4" right now and no where close to being done growing. He will be a giant, I am sure of it.

My 20 year old wears an 11 and seems like he has since he was about 15. I don't really remember before that.

My 11 year old wears a boys size 5.5, but they're getting small. I bet he's ready to go to men's.

My 20 year old is only 5'4" and my youngest will likely be around the same (I am 5'3 and DH is 5'5), so it makes sense they wouldn't have the biggest feet. My oldest has actually always had surprisingly large feet for his height.

DS will be 11 at the end of July. Bought new shoes earlier this week...size 8 1/2. He's about 5'4" and showing no signs of slowing down. We're betting that he surpasses DH, who is 6'2" before HS graduation.

What size shoe does your 11 year old son wear? Mine is wearing a size 8. We thought it was pretty average but a lot of people have commented that his feet seem large for his age. DS just turned 11 last week & he is really hoping that he grows to be tall.

My son just turned 11 in March and he wears a mens 6. He is currently about 4'11".

One of my 11 yr old twin boys wears a 10.5 mens shoe. His brother only wears an 8 mens. Hope he grows into his feet. My father is 6'7 though so maybe in the cards.
