11-7-10 Wonder cruise meet

Hi!!! we have booked for this cruise and it will be our first! I wanted to do a cruise and my hubby wanted to do disney, so we compromised..lol. I have been reading this board everyday since we booked! so excited. Our boys are grown 21 and 24 and are working so cant join us this time, but maybe next time

Ok, so I am about to make my FE and I keep seeing 8 inches for the size... is it really 8in.. it looks so much bigger in picures that we have seen.. I just want to make sure I got the right size before I make it..

Ok, so I am about to make my FE and I keep seeing 8 inches for the size... is it really 8in.. it looks so much bigger in picures that we have seen.. I just want to make sure I got the right size before I make it..

The Width is only 8 inches but we made our pockets deeper to make up for it so that there was plenty of room for things to be put in them. but 8 inches is as wide as the wall where the fish is located can handle.

We are so excited...We get to start our Cruise Vacation a day early! We were able to get a room at the Country Inn & Suites for Saturday night. So we will go early check in drop our bags then go spend some time by the Canal watching the Magic sail out then have a nice dinner at Rusty's or Grill's!

It's really getting closer!

We only have to drive but glad you get to fly in a day early and enjoy a nice evening at SSR and Disney! We stayed in 2007 at SSR as part of a Guest Recovery Stay (really really horrible experience at the Poly but Disney made it up to us) and we LOVED SSR. We were in Congress Park the walkway to DTD was right there, the view was really nice and it was quiet

Yeah definitely not going fast enough. I am battling a cold right now, better now then closer to the cruise that is for sure! I am getting bombarded at school with work and frankly all I want to do is curl up on a lounge chair, listen to the waves crash on the beach and sip a konk Kooler on Serenity Bay is that too much to ask? LOL

I have been thinking about the Meet on Board Idea:

How about DIS Meeting at the Promenade Lounge around 2:15-2:30 for say 20 minutes that will give us enough time to chit chat and take photos if wanted and then when its time for the Safety drill we can then head on out to do that and the Sailaway party. Most people are on board by then and this way you have time to check out your room, and you have time to get ready for sailaway, safety party, and early dining

I'm So excited I could BURST just BURST!!!!!

One of my BFF's is my TA she has booked many trips and cruises for us and she specializes in Disney. Knows most of the agents on a first name basis and well she was able to get the Florida Resident Rates that just came out today applied to our cruise WHOOHOO!!! We saved $518 (just the two of us cruising) and we keep the same room and there is just over a month until we get onboard! Today is AWESOME!

Helps me forget how stressful school has been in an instant, and how crummy I have felt all week with a cold! I just saved $$$$ so its all goooood!

Just had to share my excitement.

OK, can I tell you that you are my new BFF!!!! I just called b/c I saw your post and.....was able to go from 2 inside cabins to 2 verandah cabins for $40 CHEAPER!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!! Now to just keep the surprise from my parents, don't know if I can THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

Please let me know what your new stateroom numbers are so we can update the FE list. I am working on it this weekend to add 2 new cabins to our list for a new member so I can update yours as well!


I know we had a room that was unassigned...any updates on a room number yet? upgrade fairy visit ya ?

2nd revision was emailed just now I added names to your group

LOL and I don't mind this I have really nothing else to Plan for this cruise so it gives me something to plan plus I LOVE to use excel and to organize so I in my Type A personality made it so you have it in order top to bottom from highest deck to lowest deck number and in order from Port Forward to Port Aft then Starboard Forward to Starboard Aft so that you can go along in order Learned hard way after last cruise from running 1 end to the other 18 times and up and down all decks 12 times.

in 44 days I can probably color cordinate it LOL....aren't you glad I have school to keep me busy now?
