Hi all! We just booked this cruise while on the Wonder!

Just wanted to say "HI" before heading back to read and catch up!

We are Lori and Rick. We moved from New Orleans to Orlando earlier this year.


Off to read, but just wondering is there a meet and is there a FE exchange? I know we're late to the thread but would love to participate if there is. If not, then that's ok too- we'll just be happy to be back on the boat again!

I moved to Orlando in 2008 from CT and love it but with my major may end up back in CT due to the job opportunities I can find there LOL!!

For those who are going to be at Disney before the cruise I hope you all have a Magical time! I have classes that I am doubling up on to make up for the classes I am missing during the cruise so unfortunately I can't jump into the parks the week before or the days after the cruise

But if anyone is going to stay in Port Canaveral the night before if you want to have dinner or meet up let us know we are staying at the Country Inn and Suites and doing dinner at Rusty's on the canal and would love to have company!

The WONDERful number is 17!!!! 17 days until we are getting onto the Wonder for our cruise!

We are going shopping this weekend for all the incidentals we will need! Then we are packing and then taking half out, packing again, taking another 1/3 out and then we will be ready to go! We are overpackers! When we lived in CT we drove to WDW one year my Ford Focus was so full we didn't have room for our souvinears, we had to ship stuff home. 1 box just full of shoes and pocket books. Yep my mother won't live that down.

Hey Everyone so I just realized something that well you might need to plan for!!

November 7th is the end for Daylight Savings Time!!!! So remember to set your clocks back 1 hour!!! So we get an extra hour of sleep or as I prefer to think of it an extra hour on the Wonder

Hi everyone! I odnt think ive posted before but we are joining you! We booked a few months ago and I didnt think it would ever get here! It will be me, DH and our DD who will be 2 in December. We are SOOO excited! It is DH and DD's first cruise! I havent been on one in years though!

We did some Cruise shopping today, we got our dressy night shoes, swim shoes, bonine, and sea bands! We also went to the Prime outlets Character Warehouse that has all Disney stuff!! We got 2 posters that are DCL related and we got our Travel Agent her gift there!

15 Days until we get onboard!!!

14 Days!!!!!!!!!!

1 suitcase is already full, got our dress shoes bought yesterday, all our incidentals are bought and packed now just have to wait until closer to the cruise to wash and pack the clothes we are currently using but want to bring. Also got our swim shoes for Castaway Cay.

We went to the Prime outlets yesterday to the Character Warehouse since it was close to the easy spirit outlet and boy did we find 2 great DCL prints! My bedroom is done in DCL decor and these will make great additions!

This one was $10.99 and is already matted just have to get a frame for it.

This one was $11.99 but it is 2ft by 3 ft and I'll have to get it matted and framed or at least just framed.

Both were sold originally for over $30 when they were onboard.

This is our first Disney cruise.
What do most people wear on the dress up night? We are at Disney 6 days before hand and this time of year have learned to bring warm clothes too. Hoping a shirt and tie for hubby would be dressy enough. Suit cases are getting full. lol.

On dressy night, a shirt slacks and tie should be more then enough. Its more like "sunday best" not formal formal but just higher then Casual.

Called DCL today (in all honesty also called yesterday and the day before ) this time though I remembered to ask about what Movies will be showing!!

Of course they have to say subject to change but in most likelyhood these will be shown:


Toy Story 3 in 3D
Oceans
Sorcerer's Apprentice
Step Up In 3D
You Again
Secretariat

I'm not sure what will be the movie shown in the Walt Disney Theater for the night that has no stage show but i'm hoping for either Toy story 3 or Secretariat. I have no interest in Sorcerer's Apprentice or Step up in 3D.
