Good Morning ,
Well we are in the 40's here this morning!! Well today we are off to Bed bath and Beyond to get some house stuff and Home Depot for paint for DS' room, My room and the dining room. That is all that is going on here. Going to get some more unpacking done and realx. Have a great rest of the weekend.

Afternoon all:

Well I had a nice quite eveing last nite. Wally went out to a car show in town here with a neighbor and didnt get home till about 9:30pm....it was really nice having the whole afternoon and evening to myself, I did get a lot of housework done then just spent some time with "the dogs".
My poor Jack is having a bout with diarrhea. I came home friday from work to a mess Poor baby, left a mess by the door, so I know that he wanted to go out. But it was all over my rug by the door plus all over my binds and the chair legs..... yuk!!! So I have been giving him Pepto and I made some rice and boiled chicken for him today. Hopefuly the combo will help him.

Nothing else going on...just starting to get things together to pack for my Disney trip On the count down now and am looking really forward to going.

Welll my daughter is in transition to making her way back to the states. They have moved them out of their housing and are in a temp housing...some of their stuff has been packed and picked up already.... So she should hopefully be leaving there in the next few weeks...I cant wait to have her back in the states....

Not much else going on....have a pork roast in the crock pot....yummy...

Denise ... when Sammy had problems, our vet had us make him a mixture of rice, chicken and kaopectate. It always seemed to help ... and that crazy dog ate it up! WHY??? Who knows! It smelled like CRAP!!

My oldest son randy came over last evening with his dog Poncho and spent the night.

Minnie has always got along with Poncho, but 5 minutes after he was here he was just walking in the middle of the room wagging his tail and she attacked him. didnt hurt him. we think she is older now and just wanted to show him she was the dominate one here.

we put her in the othe rroom for a couple of hours then made her stay on her leash by me the rest of the night. Today they played great.

Pixie barked and hid a lot. she is such a coward. but today she made up to Poncho and they played great too. Poncho is a very gentle Lab.

Pixie never did make up to randy even though he tried to be friends. she would hide and bark.

Poncho did about an hour of swimming in the pool chasing the ball. Our dogs stood back and looked at him like he was crazy

Now it is quiet and the dogs are sleeping.

I did get to watch the Magic pull out tonight.

Good Morning ,
Another very cold morning here in NY!!! Well yesterday we went to Bed Bath and Beyond for house stuff. Listen to this we had 22 items and I got to use 22 coupons which gave me 20% of each item. We saved $70.00 on a $300.00 order!! Well the house is starting to look like home to me. We bascially got the kitchen done last night which got rid of alot of boxes upstairs. Today I are going to still unpack afew more boxes and get my frames hung. Also have to wash DS Fall/winter clothes because it has gotten very cold here!! Well that is all that is going on here. Lynn, $70 is a great savings.

I use to clip coupons all the time when I was raising my family. I averaged $300 a month in savings which was pretty good because way back the, many, many, moons ago( you notice I didnt say years ) the coupons were 25 cents for most things. But then we went through a few years of double off coupons to go with the coupons, but usually limit 4 per store. Of course if you made more than one trip to the store they couldnt prove it if you did extra. I lived so close to the store I didnt have to worry about using too much gas too. That always felt good to save.

Now i occassionally use one or two. It is hard to find coupons for what we now use. Hope you finish the unpacking soon

we are finally getting a break in our weather. Only mid 80's this week instead of mid to upper 90's. That sounded great to me.

Hi everyone, Wow what a busy weekend! I am beat!! We spent the day on Saturday with Jan,Dave, Jeff,Mina and their girls. John, Dave and Jeffs family went to the game. Jan ,the girls and I did not go to the game. We spent the time swimming and took the girls to a ceramic place to paint. Then we all met up for dinner. It was a fun time. It was nice to get to know Jeff and Mina better. We really did not run into them too much on the cruise last year. All of the girls hit it off good. Now they will know each other for the next cruise I think they may even start to email each other.

Yesterday was Jordyns birthday. She turned 11. We went to the park and rode our bike for 8 miles I am sore today!!! Then we had family over for cake and ice cream.

Today I am catching up on and house work since nothing got done this weekend. Thats about all. The weather is warming up again. We had frost Saturday night, so I guess we are getting our indian summer this week.

Lynn-What a great deal you got!! I love Bed Bath and Beyond.

Denise-Great news about your daughter. I will pray for safe travel home Also I hope you doggie is better.

Wendy-What cruise could you possibly want to go on later in the year Good luck with that! Sure wish we could go to!

Good Monday Morning!

Yes, Kathy, it was a busy weekend around the Phillips' household, and the games on Saturday did wear me out a little bit!

But, now it is back to work today to try and get everything ready for a trip to Minnesota next week with the client. It will also give me a chance to see my brother and his family that live up there. But, in the mean time, it is going to be one busy week!

Fortunately, no games this week as it is break week for the schools down here!

I'm not sure how Jack is today?!! I mean he has been acting "normal" thru this but I had let him out twice before I left for work today....and he didnt "go"....so I talked with Wally this afternoon and told him, not to be to surprised if there was a "present" on the floor when he got home.....well there must have been, since the windows were opened wide....and his comment to me was.....i'm leaving the s---for you to pick up next time!!! but then again thats just par for Wally....he just leaves everything for me to do or clean up!!

Nothing else is going on...just starting to get things together for my trip.

Good Morning ,
It is in the 40's again this morning but then by the weekend we are going to hot and humid and in the high 80's. This weather is CRAZY !!! DS is not feeling to go today. He got a nasty stuffy nose and cold. I have to run to Rite Aid to get some Cold and Cough Medicine for DS. Today we are just hanging around the house. I want DS cold to clear up!! Well let me go because DS is crying !!

Howdy all,
Denise I think your coming at the right time to see Mickey. Lines will be shorter, and the weather should be nice not roasting!!!
October is when we usually start going to WDW on a more regular schedule.

Just stay away from MK on saturday because all the locals pack it full.
Also if you're staying on property, they will have a different park a few times a week that you can get into an hour before anyone else,it sounds great, but take my word for it DON'T go then.

Thousands of people will be there for that hour and will stay for the day .Way to crowded, but it helps to keep down the crowds at the ther parks.
