Well, I am working form home today. I have to get ready for a trip out of town. I am flying Minneapolis on Sunday evening and will be there until Friday afternoon. I have a brother who lives in the area, so I will at least get the opportunity to say hello to he and the family!

Well we had terrible thunderstorms all night long, had a tornado at Eustis that destroyed 20 houses but they were still waiting for day light for a better accessment. No injuries that we know of.

Not much else going on this morning,

DS colored for the 1st time yesterday and that was the funniest thing because she wanted to have all 7 crayons in his hand at the same time !!

Oh my gosh! What a storm we had last night! How about you Kathy! Our weather radio was going off all night long! I had our "safe-room" all ready to go, just in case! We only lost a tree limb and had some flood waters in the back yard.
Shell, I saw where Mt. Dora was getting hit also and I thought of your parents. Do they have a home near downtown Mt. Dora?
My baby girl is in the early stages of labor! I thought sure we were going to have to drive to the hospital in this storm. Very thoughtful g'child, it's going to wait until the sun shines!

Bob - we found a nice cabin and we are all looking forward to a restful vacation. I only wish it was a cabin on a cruise ship, one that is sailing away in Nov. Guess the top of the mountains will do for now! Have you ever been to the Dillard House?

Morning Pat, I sent you a letter yesterday, hope you got it ok.

Yes we got hit big time with the same storm, it didnt slow down until about 1 a.m. Eustis did get the worst of it because of the tornado. We had No damage but the pool is full and needs to be emptied a few inches today.

The dogs were up most of the night with it too.


I am glad Bobbi didn't have to be induced like you thought. Let us know when the baby is here!!!

I will be checking back often all day and evening, just in case she has delvered.

Hey Pat! If you used someone other than Mtn. Laurel Chalets, you need to let me know your opinion of the company and the cabin. Actually, let me know either way. I am alway looking for other "opportunities" in that area.

As for the Dillard House, that is an evil, evil, evil place! They have some of the best "country" food of just about anywhere I have been. Now, it is a bit pricey, but the food is very good. Also, you can plan on waiting for a table a little while with a group your size, but it should not be a long wait. Just don't let the driver eat to much, or they will be asleep before you make it to the NC line about 5 miles away! It is definitely worth the stop!

Pat & Kathy: I was wondering about you guys when I saw the news this morning and saw that Eustis was hit so hard. I didn't know how far that was from each of you. Glad to hear that you both came out of it okay!

DITTIO on the Dillard House! We've been there before. Quite a few times. One of my favorite trips was on Thanksgiving. We had our Thanksgiving dinner there! It will be Esther's first time and I'm looking forward to seeing her face when they bring the food to the table!
I will be happy to let you know how the cabin works out. I'll take pictures to share with you all. Yes, I know the mountains will be blocking the sea and you won't beable to see the stacks from the ship, but the mountains will look nice! I won't have to worry about sea legs, just ear poppin!

Today we are in the 80's here in NY. Well today I am going to clean up alot because my parents are coming to see the new house on Sunday. Tomorrow I have to take Minnie to her new vet and then off to Kohl's while DH paints DS's room and puts up the Thomas border. Well that is all that is going on here. Have a great weekend everyone!!

Hi everyone, It had been a very busy week!! I need a vaction. Any one have any ideas We are going for one last camping trip today. We are going close to home. It is a Halloween weekend. we decorate the camper and the kids dress up and trick or treat. We have never done this before. We are going with a bunch of people. Should be fun. Today was the fun run at Madisons school. Spent the first 1/2 of the day there. I now just have to finish packing. Hope you all have a great weekend. The weather is perfect here

Hi Lorna. We had a great time too. I know that Elizabeth said "Why didn't I get to stay at the hotel and swim and have fun instead of going to the game?" Well rumor has it that it is going to be a Webkinz birthday. I guess third graders don't know how to keep secrets so pretty much every girl coming to her sleepover party tonight (and there are 15 of em) are buying her Webkinz. Not sure why you need so many. Isn't the fun of it taking care of that ONE special one? Obviously I don't get it.

Have a great time camping this weekend. It sounds fun.

Pat, I just got home from a business trip and haven't kept up on what was going on, or spoken to my parents. They're still here in Ohio for a couple more weeks so I'm sure if there was any news about their house or neighborhood their friends or neighbors would have called and Dad would have been on the road within 30 seconds . They live in Mt. Dora Country Club ... was there storm damage there?
