Ok we did it.

I just changed our Southwest flights to come in on Thanksgiving morning.

Now I have to cancel the Hyatt.

Decide what hotel we should stay in. I'm thinking of The Swan as it has a $179 a night rate. Anyone have any experiences with the Swan? We have never been. If not there, we may go for Animal Kingdom Lodge or Boardwalk Inn (never done BW either). I'm going to call tomorrow and check on DVC availability. I don't hold out any hope for those 2 days but who knows?

Also, I need to finalize transportation. I found out that DCL bus picks up at Swan very late (12:30 or so) so I think we'll do a Limo/van service instead.

Also, and I better get on this immediately...where do we have dinner Thanksgiving night? Yikes. Any suggestions from those who have done this.

VERY excited we are going to squeeze in a little park time (we'll activate our annual passes for this trip since we are returning just after Christmas) perhaps at AKL or the Studios and Epcot.

Any and all ideas are very much welcome and needed especially for dinner.

Gee Kathy, it looks like you and I have to carry the party at the Hyatt! We'll miss you Jeff. But I sure can't blame you for grabbing a night at the parks.

Hey Kathy, I was checking on our flights today and realized we get in MCO at 7pm (not 9pm like I previously thought.) You may see us running around looking for food and fun after all!! By the way, I hope you're feeling better now. You had us worried for a while there.

well given their height they could probably sleep on the table where it folds down. The grandkids fit there ok, so Christine and Joey would probably be a good fit too.

I said Jeff, not Joey ... but I guess they're interchangable in this instance since both are outdoorsy types

well Jeff can take the couch because he is taller thsn Joey. He will have to share with Minnie and Pixie though. Dont worry, they dont mind sharing. Pixie will lick his feet clean by morning as a perk

Hi All,

Just got back from lunch.

I see your all very talkative today...


Why? B/c they are light and we can pack them full and not have to worry about exceeding the 50lbs weight limit. Our newest suitcases are Samsonite Easy rollers, the ones with four wheels, and they expand. They push with the touch of a finger, but they weigh 20 lbs EMPTY!!!! A real problem when you can only take one per person due to airline restrictions.

Oh but wait, we are on Southwest and they do allow two person...

Well, sounds like you need new luggage

Afternoon Nana's!!

We had a little accident while getting ready to leave for Park City.

Holly tried to open the fridge and knocked our big "Maglight" flashlight down on her head.

It hit her hard enough that it split her forehead open all the way to the bone!

Since it was a head wound it bled like crazy which made it seem allot worse!

We rushed her to the emergency center where they put stitches in her.

She's back to acting like her normal self now.

We're headed to the pool. I'll try and check in later.

Awwwwww poor Holly....I cant believe that you took a picture of her......

WE JUST TOLD THE BOYS

I finally convinced Rick that having the boys be excited with us is the most fun. Much to his disapointmen we had the post card we had sent to us for the boys laying on the table and told them they had mail. They read it and just looked at me. Im sitting on the couch hopping up and down with the camera. No reraction. They they finally got it.

They called Grandma and told them they could come to that THEY got them a room to.
