Dawn,
you must be feeling better if your off to the zoo, thats great.

Morning everyone,
cool here but 85 this afternoon, so it is going to be very nice.

No plans for the weekend here. May go see my MIL on saturday for awhile but thats about all. Too much traffic and crazy drivers for us to venture very far.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.:goodvibes

A tour bus driver is driving with a bus load of seniors down a highway
when he is tapped on his shoulder by a little old lady.

She offers him a handful of peanuts, which he gratefully munches up.

After about 15 minutes, she taps him on his shoulder?
again and she hands him another handful of peanuts.?

She repeats this gesture about five more times.

When she is about to hand him another batch again
he asks the little old lady, "why don't you eat the peanuts yourself?

"We can't chew them because we've no teeth", she replied.

The puzzled driver asks,
"Why do you buy them then?"

The old lady replied,
"We just love the chocolate around them."

It pays to be careful around old people.

 Muppet Show to return to TV after 27 years

Kermit the frog and friends could return in the first new Muppet Show TV series for 27 years.

The Muppet Show, which ran from 1976 to 1981, won an Emmy in 1978 for Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Series. The Jim Henson-created characters may be on their way back thanks to a new Disney Film.

In the movie, written by Forgetting Sarah Marshall star and writer Jason Segel, the Muppets reunite to save their studio with one last variety show.

Should the film go well, it opens up the possibility of a television programme, also written by 28-year-old Segel.

A source said: "Jason is a massive Muppets fan and is seen as the man to finally bring The Muppet Show back to TV.

"It will obviously have all its old fans but Jason's comedy is hugely popular with youngsters so it will open it up to a whole new audience."

The source added: "If the movie script is popular Jason will write the TV series too. He is already coming up with ideas for it."

Although there have been a number of spin-offs, including Muppets Tonight in 1996, The Muppet Show originally ran from 1976 to 1981, and made famous characters such as Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear and Gonzo - the show won an Emmy in 1978 for Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Series.

In the original series, Kermit, arguably the world's most famous frog, was the show's stage manager, attempting to keep order amidst the chaos, while being pursued by Miss Piggy.

The Muppet characters went on to star in a number of movies including The Muppets Take Manhatten, The Muppet Christmas Carol and Muppets from Space.

So Jeff, Bob, Greg, Okie ... I'm sure you meant to say that BFF-La could come live with you too right... So far I can live with

Well first off let me just say that I was shocked that you would actually consider coming to IDAHO to stay?!

After all.......when you look in the dictionary under "BFE".....Idaho is what's listed. In the famous words of Robin Williams......its not the end of the earth, but you can see it from here! :rotfl2: :lmao:

We'd love to have you guys come stay. I'm not repainting a room for you though, but you can stay in our motorhome (a.k.a the big rolling turd) it offers more privacy then you'd get with my 4 kids here in the house!! :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

Noonish all:

Well I have come to the conclusion that getting off early one day is really not a good thing.....my desk was loaded with charts this morning......even the nurses were commenting on it.....(of course they are the ones bringing me the charts):rotfl: but I did finally get it looking decent by lunch time.....

anyway......not much elses is going on....

OMG I have been so busy at work...what up with dat:rolleyes: How am I supposed to read my book under my desk:mad:

Shell - I am very proud of you...Muppets are Disney related:woohoo:

Not too many plans this weekend. Joey does have two days off so we will try to take advantage of all that time:rolleyes1 Sunday will be our "staycation" day. We will spend the morning at the pool and have dinner at Palms Place at night.

Just got off the phone with Wendy. Looks like the storm may be worse than expected ... she couldn't find Bud Lite Lime in Walmart! :scared: That's just unfathamable that my BFF-LA would have to live in those kinds of conditions!

OH-NO...NOT THAT...she really needs to leave now. If not, I can send her an emergency supply:thumbsup2

I think we're all going to have to band together and make sure the BLL supply is replenished constantly.

BLL... Your better off drinking water. Bud anything is horrific, especially Bud Light..

I have been watching the storm track, Looks like Grand Cayman may miss the brunt of the storm, But it is not looking too good for New Orleans.
