I'm not Christine,:rotfl: but Rudi and I went to see Cirque du Soleil O It was out of this WORLD... :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: You know they have one that is all nude. :woohoo: :cheer2: :thumbsup2 :hippie: :rolleyes1

Hi Terri,

I was debating about that show too. I think "O" is with water....right? Where did you guys see it at?

Zumanity is the nude one.....I think I'll pass on that one.....watching a bunch and men and women running around doing acrobatics with their body parts floppin around isn't what I'd be willing to spend $200 per person to see?! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I've cruised one time during spring break--very crowded (of course) but the weather was great--cold at night. This last November, I thought the weather was perfect. We were out at night and you could wear a light sweater but that was all. I think it just depends. You would definitely enjoy our group--we have LOTS of fun!

Christine, Remember the morning of Castaway Cay, Friday, everyone woke up because we didn't feel the boat moving! :rotfl:

Dawn, you know what was weird? I got sick in St. Thomas after the motion stopped. Not really sick but just wasn't feeling the best.:confused3

I've cruised January twice and loved it, late October and love it and I loved November as well. Never cruised during a warmer month. Which I think May probably would be.

IMHO To be honest, the only downside I felt to our week in November was that it was a little close Christmas and as soon as we got back it was all rush rush rush for Christmas.

That said... I booked the same week for 2009 onboard... so it must not have bothered me TOO much!:rotfl:

Good evening everyone!

I hope that you all have had a great day. It has been a busy one for me, and plans to be worse tomorrow. I have about 5 or 6 hour long meetings to attend tomorrow. Doesn't that sound like fun?:scared:

Hope everyone has a great night! See you tomorrow!

Bob, good luck with your meetings tomorrow!! :thumbsup2

Wow Greg...dog food huh!?! :rotfl2: who'da thunk it??

I know...we've got some smart mice here in Idaho!! :headache:

It must be because we live so close to the Idaho National Lab and all that radiation must be making them smarter?! :lmao:

Good night.....

Good morning everyone!

Well, it is Wed. and the week is half over! Right now, with the project at work, I am not sure if that is a good thing or not!:confused3

I hope that everyone has a wonderful day! Talk to you soon!

Greg, I saw something on Travel Channel the other night and they were showing shots from "Ka" in Las Vegas (another Cirque show). It looked really cool because the stage goes vertical at one point in the show!

Good Morning!

Denise, Groceries are on my list today too! Got to wash the baseball uniform to have ready for tomorrow night.

Rainy this morning.

Have a great Wednesday everyone! I'll be back after the chores!:yay:

Good mornin' Nanas!

Just stoppin' in to say Hi!

Have a great day!

Cheri

Evening all!

Another busy day today! Weatherman says we may hit the 80's this weekend!! (I'll believe it when I see it!) :rolleyes1

Christine, have you been to the Cirque du Soleil Mystere show at Treasure Island? I'm thinking about getting tickets for my wife and I, but don't know anything about it? Any suggestions?

Later....

Mystere is great...it's a typical Cirque show. If you want something a little different but still Ciqure see "O" it's an amazing show. I have heard great things about "Love" (Beatles Cirque Show) but I haven't seen it. Danny Gans is also amazing but he is leaving the Mirage sometime this year so don't know if he will still be here when you get here. I think you wife would really like Mama Mia (Abba Musical) it's a really fun show.

If you need anything thing else, just let me know...where are you staying?

Happy Wednesday everyone!!
It should be a good one here, I hope.
Our house is suppose to close today after 6 delays, but still will be holding my breath until it happens.;)
Also we get the first rent check for the house we are renting.:cool1:

Today I am also going for groceries. I guess Denise, Dawn and I will all be eating good tonight:thumbsup2 Of course I am also doing all the bedding and towels today and Greg is going to wash the rugs too.

Then the dogs will get a bath before going to the Vet late this afternoon for shots and checkups, so it will be a busy day for us.
It is suppose to be our first warm day, today and then hot for 4 days before getting cold again.:sad2:
Hey, this is my 9000 post on these boards!! on to 10,000 now!!!

Back later,

Bob, have fun sat all your meetings.:lmao:

My sister has seen "Ka" she said it was a good cirque show but no where's near as good at "Love". She thought there was too much down time since the stage had to keep moving back into place.

Morning Nana's!!

Its another cold day in Idaho. Rained a little this morning and is cold enough it could possibly SNOW AGAIN!! :scared: :scared:

Christine, we've never been to a Cirque show before is the "O" the better one to see? Mama Mia sounds good too. I'll have to check it out online!

We're open to suggestion from anyone. If you've seen a "must see show" or something fun to do in Vegas let me know! :woohoo:

Any suggestion on buffets? I'm kinda leaning toward the "Village seafood buffet" at the Rio and/or "Le Village buffet" at Paris?

Ever done the Imperial Luau?

We traded a week at one of our timeshares for a week at Marriott's Grand Chateau next to the strip. They say the pool is on the roof (42nd floor) should be fun! :woohoo:

Looks nice Greg. Is it new? I don't recall ever seeing that resort (which end of the strip?)

The Paris Buffet is really yummy. We went for breakfast and they had the most amazing homemade crepes. I have never been to the seafood buffet (don't like fish) but my family has and they loved it. It has just been redone so it should be really nice.

If you want to eat at someplace trendy and fun have dinner at Tao...it's my favorite place to eat on the strip.

I would say "O" is the best show on the strip and Mama Mia is the most fun (if you like Abba).

Looks nice Greg. Is it new? I don't recall ever seeing that resort (which end of the strip?)

It's a high rise building kinda between MGM and Paris. Only about a block or two away from the strip.

Hey Jeff, I did a Google Earth search for it and like Christine says its about a block off the strip on East Harmon Ave. in between MGM, Paris and Bellagio.

Ok, we're going to see "O" where is the best place to sit? Do you want front and center or is it better to be back a ways on one side or the other to be able to see all of it?

Tao.....sounds like Asian food? Maybe we can all get together and eat there one night?
