11-29-08 Nana Heads 3: Tiara Bob & The Dreamboats Reunion Cruise CONT'D THREAD #11!

Christine, I hope it's not too bad with the in-laws. Are they as hairy as Joey? Not that that matters, or anything...I'm just saying...

:sad2: :sad2: Nope...yeah and I know that because my DFIL doesn't believe in wearing PJ's even when sharing a hotel room with us:scared:

We were walking through the Osborne lights at Disney Hollywood Studios last night, and that's when we thought of trying to find a small town with snow to visit. We also thought about how fun it would be to be at the Studios with the BFFs.

:sad1: OMG, I wish I was there too.

I wish I had been going where you came from instead of where you were headed!:lmao: The temps really aren't bad here, it is just the horrible wind that is happening. Gusts up to 50 mph today!:scared1: I have hiked and camped in 20 degree weather, and I wasn't this cold!

Brayden, Holly and I just woke up from an early nap and we're cold! :scared1:

Time to chop some wood and get the fireplace going. :thumbsup2

Am I reading this right? Trey was neutered the other day and now Steve is wanting to do it?? :scared1: :scared1:

LisaRae, how about Newfane, Vt, or Stowe, VT or Killington, VT? You really need a 'resort' area, or they roll up the streets at dusk in the winter.

I know a nice cozy little lodge in Killington. You can fly into Albany, NY, or Hartford, CT or Manchester, NH on a non-stop from Orlando and rent a car.

Welcome home Greg ID! Glad you guys made it home safely. All of our snow melted yesterday and today it is freezing again. More snow expected tomorrow night. I am sure we will have a white Christmas.

Madison is home sick today. I took her to the Dr. She has a sinus infection and fluid behind her ears. Just taking it easy today. Have a good one nanas:banana:

Hi Lorna,

I hope Madison gets feeling better soon. :pixiedust:

Being sick at Christmas time is no fun.

We're still trying to catch up on sleep and I haven't even started unpacking yet......3 of our big pieces of luggage didn't make it to Idaho Falls with us last night, but it was delivered it to our house sometime early this morning.

Oh Boy Greg, that stinks but glad you got your luggage.

Lorna, hope Madison feels better quick.

Am I reading this right? Trey was neutered the other day and now Steve is wanting to do it?? :scared1: :scared1:

:lmao: Sounds funny the way you put it :lmao:
I said in conversation on Friday, so Trey had a 'V' today and Mitch said something along the lines of, did you really have to mention that.
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Tell me about it...Joey was holding himself when I told him about Trey :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

All you boys are just WIMPS. Trey had not problems with doing it. Believe me there is nothing about that man that was NEUTERED. HE still has everything God gave him, its just is no longer connected.

If it were convenient and easy, woman would do it.

Have a great night we are expecting 2-4 inches this evening of SNOW. Agh, guess I better let the dogs in soon as I get home.

Hugs & Kisses.

Am I reading this right? Trey was neutered the other day and now Steve is wanting to do it?? :scared1: :scared1:

You know, I understand why Trey "agreed" to it, but I just don't get the concept of "wanting" to do it!:confused3 I know some guys want to be like Trey, but I wouldn't want to be like anybody that badly!:rotfl2:

I say Vegas. It's only a 4 hour flight. Mt Charleston is getting lots of snow right now plus you have the pretty lights of the strip. Hotels are cutting their rates so it's wouldn't cost much. I would offer you my casita but DMIL and DFIL are coming on Thursday:scared1:

:sad2: :sad2: :sad1: Christine I'm sooo sooo sorry...good luck

You know there are options for you women folk to "get neutered" too. :lmao: I'm just sayin...

Oh jeff......you just opened a can of worms there mister!!!! we deliver the babies you boys get neutered!!! them's the fact's!!!! I'm just sayin!!!!!:rolleyes1

I know you guys will probably give me grief for this question especially since I spent most of the sea day on the deck wrapped in towels because I was so cold (thank you again Kim!) But, Steve and I were trying to figure out somewhere we could go to see snow between Christmas and New Years. We'd like to go the least distance as possible, and not end up in a blizzard or anything. Actually, we'd love to go to a small, "Mayberryish" town. Any of you guys have any suggestions? (Yes, I'm expecting lots of humorous ones as well as a few serious ones!)

Thanks Nanaheads!!!

Hi Lisa! Hey Steve! Howdy everyone.... glad to see you're keeping the homefires burning.

Hey, if you want snow...DO NOT come to Ohio... we rarely get the stuff. (actually thats a ploy we use to get warm-weather folk into our sphere of influence- we actually have Don Ho, Jimmy Buffett and one of the beachboys encased in ice blocks. We display them in Cleveland's Public Square between Thanksgiving and New Years. It costs a buck but its well worth seeing them.)

hope everyones doing well and enduring the non-cruise phase of life.

da mutt

Okay, I don't even know why I'm bothering because everytime I invite someone to Virginia it means a week's worth of therapy sessions to deal with the rejection. BUT since I'm still on a cruise high and I think maybe I have friends I'll try again.

First of all, if you want snow in Virginia you have to head to the mountains. Yes, sometimes it's manufactured. Of course, on the way there you would pick up BFF-VA where she would then take you through the beauty of Virginia Beach, to Williamsburg where you can enjoy hot cider along cobblestone streets, up the Blueridge Parkway where you can watch me puke out the car window because I'm scare of heights stopping along the way to visit wineries, antique stores and all the friggin' Mayberry you can handle. We can go skiing, tubing or simply park our a**es in the lodge and drink coffee with Bailey's (suck it, suck it). So, there's an option. Just let me know when to schedule my therapy:sad2:

You know, that is another thing that makes me questions your sanity sometimes!

You know Bob, I question my husband's sanity also. Considering most of my family bailed out of LI, they took their $$$ from their home sales and went to Florida, can't get DH to move. I hate the winter and am sooo ready to go. Four and a half more years and DD will be out of HS and I am leaving NY to the seasons of NC, now if we leave after DD graduates we can go by the water, if not then I have to go to Apex/Cary where all the other NYers are. LOL

Wait, you've invited people to your house? And why didn't I know about it?
