OK so I just finished the loaf of beer bread and I have to say ... IT IS FABULOUS! I can't believe how much flavor it has for only 3 ingredients! I just put a 2nd loaf in (wanted to see how the first one came out before I committed myself to another!).
If you feel like baking, I got this recipe from a girl at work. She says if you can't make homemade bread, try this. It's easy and delicious (I'm making some today myself to see if it's as good as she says)
1 can of beer
3 cups of self-rising flour
3 T. sugar
Mix all and place in greased bread loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour (after 45 minutes, brush butter over the top and then let bake for the remaining 15 minutes).
Usually a capital "T" means Tablespoons in Recipes
I will be making this recipe today![]()
OK - Dumb question, is "All Purpose" flour the same as "Self Rising"??![]()

No, you have to get Self Rising.
