There was somebody else on here trying to find out if DCL had Soy Milk onboard. I emailed them, and they called Steve yesterday to tell us that they do have Regular, Vanilla, and Chocolate Silk Soy Milk, but they do not have the individual containers. (I typically carry those with me as breakfast.) And they also said that I could bring them in my luggage if I wanted to. So I may bring a few, but I'll just drink theirs onboard.

How's everyone doing this Saturday?

Howdy cruzing buddies!! Wez all trying to git ready fur this up coming cruz and winter that's a comin. Verna's been trying to put up some plum preserves and I been tryin to git my deer venison all jerky'd up so we gots some meat fur the winter.

We're fixin to jump in the rambler and start headin to the port the end of next week so this will probably be our last post on the board here. Takes us a while to git there cuz our vehicle only does about 50 mph and Verna has to stop and pee ever 80 miles. We're gunna spend a week with our relatives in Jacksonville and eat Thanksgiven with em. I think Bubba and Hilly are comin too.

We'll sees you all at the port. Hope ever one has safe travels.

Hello!

Let me know how the beer bread turns out!

Okie, Tell Rick Happy Birthday! Poor Chelsea--:sad2: Tell Josh Hi.

Elizabeth is coming over to play for a while! Catch everyone later!

OMG I just read the bottom of Dawn's post - only a little more than two weeks away :scared1: I'm starting to have packing anxiety.

I just made spread sheets today and ordered new water shoes for the kids. I can't believe that their feet grew since summer :sad2:

Are any adults dressing up for pirate night??

OK - Dumb question, is "All Purpose" flour the same as "Self Rising"??:confused3

You can make self-rising out of all purpose flour:

Add one and a half teaspoons baking powder and one half teaspoon salt for every cup of all purpose flour :thumbsup2

Shell, I've used that beer bread recipe for years and it's sooo good!!!!

WE GOT OUR DOCS!!!

But our letter was a little different than all of yours ...

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Yurcich:

We are pleased to have you sailing with us again this year, and honestly, quite surprised.

However, we do have new rules in place that you should be aware of for you and your traveling companions to learn and memorize before boarding the ship.

Based on our experiences on previous cruises with the "Nana Heads", the following activities are now banned:

1. Cat calls from the "Ladies" (and we use that term loosely) Meet towards our officers and crew.
2. Determination of gender of our Disney characters
3. Butt grabbing in public places
4. Trying to get princesses drunk on tequila and encouraging them to start mosh pits in the Walt theater
5. The tossing of jewelry overboard
6. Using Mickey Gloves for obscene gestures
7. Telling other guests of short stature "You must be this tall ..." to participate in any onboard activities
8. Nanas without their peels
9. Barking dog voice mails
10. Hopping on Mickey's back during his flight on Pirate Night

Lastly, please remember that the Fire Hydrant on Beat Street is DECORATIVE.

Enjoy your vacation,
Disney Cruise Line

I think 26 kids. Some are young teens. Not sure what kind of things they would like in FE - that's beyond me. I don't know if that's insulting to lump them in the kid's group???:confused3

oh IMHO the big kiddos like the same litl goodies well I know my DS13 likes goofy stuff and our DIS Geek group was full of sillies so I couldn't resist the same kind of stuff this time!!! I always go overboard with that cuz it is my fav!!!! Just like stockings at Christmas!!!:woohoo:

If you feel like baking, I got this recipe from a girl at work. She says if you can't make homemade bread, try this. It's easy and delicious (I'm making some today myself to see if it's as good as she says)

1 can of beer
3 cups of self-rising flour
3 T. sugar

Mix all and place in greased bread loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour (after 45 minutes, brush butter over the top and then let bake for the remaining 15 minutes).

Yum I love beer bread!!! I have always made the box mix. Now i will have try this recipe. Thanks for sharing:)

Happy Saturday Nanas:banana: I just got home from work. We were busy, so that makes the day go by fast. The girls will be home soon. They went to grandma and grandpas for the day. Tonight we are going to church and tomorrow I am sleeping in:yay: We will proabaly stay in tomorrow. I have lots of :laundy: to do and i also want to get the girls clothes out for the cruise.

Howdy Elmer-Sounds like you and Verna have been busy gettin ready for winter. . Your leavin next week already? Maybe Verna can take some of that medicine so she doesn't have to stop and pee too much:confused3 See you at the port.

We are supposed to land at 2:19 in the afternoon.

Which direction does the shuttle land from usually?....the north or south?

If it comes in from the south we maybe able to catch a glimpse of it from the ship when its on approach, but if its coming in from the North we'll never see it. :sad2:

Hey there Nanas!
Back from the game. Final score: Pitt 41 Louisville 7. :cool1:

Now some down time and then the babysitter gets here at 6 and we head out for the night. :woohoo:

Happy Saturday night to all!
