We will be down on the 25th. We are having Thanksgiving dinner at a friends house. Depending on when dinner is we will try to go to one of the parks in the morning or late evening. Where is everyone going on Friday?

We are arriving in Orlando late on Thursday. We are thinking about going to MK on Friday, (however that may be a crazy idea, as crowds will probably be insane)

Greetings all!

I see many posts regarding a "meet". Some have suggested WDW Thurs. or Friday. We will be at DisneyQuest on Thurs. and Epcot on Friday. It might be difficult to arrange with everyone going in a different direction. Why don't we meet on the ship? Does anyone remember the name of that room that can be used for meetings on the ship? Or perhaps just topside, near a particular landmark? I'll bring the sign, if we can agree on a spot/time to meet. Don't make it too early. We don't turn our car in until 12:30 p.m. Probably leave from the airport about on Mears (Disney bus) about 1:00 p.m.

I can't wait to meet you all. Bring kids to the meet too, if you can keep up with them for that long. My DSs 16 &11 are veterans at Oceaner's Lab and Common Grounds. They would love to have some "new friends" even before the kids centers open.

Post some suggested meeting locations.

BTW--Still looking for SCUBA divers. Send private message or post if you want to dive in St. M or St. T. DS 16 needs a buddy to dive.

izzinmac...........we will be landing at 10:50am on Thursday. We usually check, in put our luggage at the front desk and head to MGM for some Tower of Terror and Rockin' Rollercoaster. Still have no plans for dinner Thanksgiving.........We have hoop tee do review sp? Friday. We usually do a Planet holywood when we are there. Maybe Thurs.

Yah--the sail away party on deck 10. Look for a group with the big Mickey hands that the CM's on land wave good bye with--cuz our group will have them. Also I think Lampskies will be recognizeable as the one w/ the ESPN mug glued to his hands. LOL. Wait--that sounds like an exact description of my husband! (Actually--he may be wheeling a keg around behind him. LOL).

Do any of you know what MK will be like Friday after Thanksgiving? We were thinking of doing that, but kind of afraid its gonna be too crazy. What do you think - is it safe?! Anyone else planning on going there?

Less then one month to go now! WooHoo!!

So our official DIS meet is Sail Away Party, deck 10, correct?

How about we do a 11/29 Eastern Roll Call, I know we did one earlier in the thread, but this will help us newbies know everyone who is going so far.. our name, where we are from.. things like that!

I'll go first

I'm Shelley (25) from Orlando Fl--this will be my 4th DCL cruise and First 7 day DCL cruise!!

I'll be sailing with my Grandmother, this will be her 2nd DCL cruise, and first 7 day DCL cruise.

No stateroom number yet. So far we haven't booked any excursions. Just looking forward to a relaxing but fun-filled DCL cruise.
