how many of you are going to Mt. Rushmore so far??

Hopefully we will be back to Florida by late spring so we can meet with people when ever they come to Florida!!

We will let you know. I know my girls would like to cruise with you guys too. John said to me this morning How about going to Hawaii in 2010 instead?? So now we have to start doing some research. I will keep ya posted if we book a cruise.

As much as I love Hawaii....the prospect of cruising on the largest cruise ship on the planet in Sept 2010 will probably win me over!

I am sitting here waiting for the trash man to come. He is an hour late already.
No I am not that bored but Pixie hates them so I cant take them out until after he comes or I will have a BIG problem if she wants to attack them and she will!!

I time their breaks on Mondays according to the trash schedule but he hasnt shown up yet. Soon I will have to get them out reguardless.

well we made them all stand up and admit to who they were. They got a lot of laughs and applause and a lot of surprized people when they found out the true identies.

My Greg was the original Elmer who started it all,
and NO i didnt know he was the culprit for along time.

Greg ID became his co-hort as Elmer #2 so when Elmer was gone or busy #2 could post . So that confused people even more.

Verna was Mutt (Bill).

The Inspector was my Greg again.

As much as I love Hawaii....the prospect of cruising on the largest cruise ship on the planet in Sept 2010 will probably win me over!

In a year or two we will probably try the Oasis of the sea, so we can at least see it.
Only thing i really need to checkout is some of these larger ships dont have enough for me to do to keep busy.

They usually have a rock climbing wall, Not for me.
a ice skating rink, not for me

a wave runner area, again not for me.

so I need to check out the activities before we book differently.
That was one of our biggest complaints about Carnival. Unless we wanted to drink and gamble or play Bingo there want anything to do?


For now I will stay happy with our 2010 cruise, which I just tucked away another $25.00 this morning from saving ones!! YEAH!!!

Ya, I probably won't be in line for the "Flo rider" or zip line myself, and the shows probably won't be as "family friendly" as DCL?

I think the parades on the promenade and the central park area with all the restaurants and shops looks very fun and peaceful though.

The miniture golf will be fun and it looks like they have dozens of little "piano bars" on the ship.

I love mini golf and bowling. I am terrible at both but will do them anyway.

The family shows on Carnival were NOT what I consider family shows.
I was embarassed when my grandkids were with me. They thought the male strippers were funny but I didnt!!

Guess I am old school!! But I dont plan on changing anytime soon.

Carnival had a couple small piano bars, but they allowed smoking in there and it smelled so bad juast to walk by them.

I did go into them the first day before they were open to see tham but there was no way I would walk into that cloud of smoke that was in there in the evenings.

I hope the ones on yoru ship will be No Smoking for you.
