Dawn are the boys finished school for the year? Kierra finishes at the end of the month...

Yep, their last 1/2 day of school was Tuesday. Still haven't been able to enjoy just "waking" up yet. Wednesday we went to the zoo, yesterday and today my thoughts were on the pool. The water height should be up there today so that the vacuum (that holds the liner to the sides) can be turned off and then they can put in the air vents and skimmer. Then we should be able to fill 'er up! THEN summer can begin!

Tomorrow is the ice cream social at the Little League Eastwood fields. We have to be there about 8:45. So tomorrow won't be a sleep in morning either!

Jaime, I think you are basically stuck flying but Melanie driving isn't really that bad! As you know, I usually always drive. I like the control I have of getting where I'm going.

Oh yeah....I almost forgot...It was an exciting afternoon in my house yesterday...my beautiful baby Alicia decide her wanted to be a hairdresser...when she was finished she looked like she got in a fight with a lawnmover She came in the kitchen and took Kierra's school sissors went in the dining room and cut off her hair...I was able to get someone to fix it for her and now she has a very short but cute hair cut!

I have a question about our cruise last year...was there a character breakfast? I read about them having one on the main site...I have double checked all my paper work & key to the world cards...we didn't get any invite...neither did Michelle's family...

Also did anyone read about Pirate night being moved to 7:15??

Oh dear!! Poor Alicia! Chris gave both my boys buzz cuts last weekend. I don't mind it on Alex but don't care for it so much on my "baby"!

Yes, there was a Character Breakfast but it was called something else. I think it was "mickey's island Jam" or something. I don't think we got invitations. I remember I asked our server when it would be because I didn't want the kids to miss it. Sorry you guys missed it!!!

I didn't read about Pirate night being moved. That's earlier right?

My SIL won a life size statue of Jar Jar Binks many years ago and has it in storage at my in-laws house. I was going to buy it from her and put it in our home theater, but my wife doesn't like it!

He is even taller then I am!

I'll have to get a picture of me standing next to it and post it for you!

I love the statue! It would look great next to Gregs leg lamp

It seems to me if they started that early it may not be dark enough for the fireworks to show up good ? I cant remember what time it gets dark?

Plus with late dinner, people would have to miss dinner or the party? I think there would be a lot of complanints about that.
I havnt heard about it yet, will try to check it out.

Jaime,
your servers were suppose to advise you when and the time your turn for the character breakfast was. Plus they are to remind you the night before at dinner.
If you miss your assigned time you cant go any other time, so they keep reminding you.

The last time we did it,I think it was a wednesday with grandkids our server reminded us everyday of the cruise it was wednesday morning at 8 a.m.
Next time, as your server the first night at the end of the meal if he hasnt told you Sorry to hear you missed it.

They had it between early and late seating on the Wonder...they moved late seating until after the party and it just got dark in time for the fireworks...not sure if it is something they are doing on both ships or if they are even keeping it that way...
