They had it between early and late seating on the Wonder...they moved late seating until after the party and it just got dark in time for the fireworks...not sure if it is something they are doing on both ships or if they are even keeping it that way...

That thread had some good points both pro and con about it.Usually testing of a new time or event is given 3 months unless it is a TOTAL diaster.
so we should know by the end of summer how well it works and if they are keeping it or not.

It might even be a trial time to see if that works better for people.
I know on the Eastern it was hard staying up late after being in St. Maartin all day and then getting up early the next day for customs at St. Thomas

I did read where they only have 2 dining times 5:45 and 8:15. maybe that is why?? who knows it might work out better??

I guess we will hear soon if it is permanent or just a trial.

usually any major changes are done as a trial to see how well it works before making them permanent.

Our girls were really sleepy the next day in St.Thomas...late night for such an early morning...

I agree it was way too late for little ones and they are the ones who enjoy it the most. I dress up and wonder around moatly looking at how others are dressed, then watch the fireworks before turning in for the night.
One time I just watched the fireworks from our balcony because i had a headache and didnt want the noise of the party. Another time I went on deck 4 to watch them, nice and peaceful there.

well I am having lunch an hour early today, so I decided to check things out here. I dont know why I am so hungry today. Just cant seem to feel full today

I walked the dogs without a sweatshirt on for the first time

After lunch I am going to sit outside on a lounger and relax with the pups for a couple of hours and enjoy the beautiful day we have. They are rare this time of the year.

Cant wait for fall when we are going to do our best to move back to Florida
