Does anyone know one of the moderators Mary (AKA...WDWLVR )? We met Mary and Mark on the eastern cruise, sent them an email and haven't heard back. Haven't seen any recent posts from them either...just hopin they are OK

Lisa, keep your chin up. we have just gone through what your going through. My DH was laid off in January after 8 years at the job. He builds homes for a living. In Florida the economy is aweful and builders are going bankrupt, so you couldn't even buy a job there.

we had 2 houses, one finally sold 3 days before it would of went into foreclosure. And our home wouldnt sell either, too many nice houses selling extra cheap but we did manage to rent it for 1 year about 3 weeks before it would of gone into foreclosure.

so we saved our credit but it was a close call for us. we had to cancel the 08 cruise for the nanaheads, but just this last week we got to rebook and we should be able to go.

So dont give up hope, you have a long time to go before it has to be paid off. as long as you cancel before the payoff date you will get 100% of your deposit back. So just let it sit there, it wont hurt a thing.

A lot of good things can happen between now and then.

We finally got the rain. And guess when? You got it--about 4 p.m. Christian's game and Skylar's last soccer practice were cancelled. It rained like the dog running after the cat! Picture that one!

Had Elizabeth this evening for a while.

Thanks everyone I am not planning on cancelling anything just yet.

We should be ok even if it means Dan has to do a temp job and I do more overtime its just a worry and I so hate this company for knocking his confidence like that.

Well I am off for work now and Dan is job hunting wish him luck.

Mel, loved the sunset. Some of our best pics were of sunsets.
we did one of the moon about midnight so it was pitch black around it, it really came out awesome. If I find it I will post it later. it may not be on this computer.

Good almost afternoon all!

I really should start my work but I've haven't started yet so I might as well check in here!

Elizabeth came about 9 this morning. You know I LOVE to get her to myself We watched the Toodles stories on the MickeyClubhouse.com, read books and played ball. We had a good time. Then my other little furry girl had to have something to eat so I made us lunch No kiddin' she'd been asking since 10:30!

It's cloudy, dreary and sprinklely (is that a word?). Well, I'll check the 08 board and then I've got to get going. I've only got a couple hours and I have to get Skylar.

Day started out rainy here...seems to have stopped...but we all knwo how the weather is.

Still waiting for the new windows to get put in...Seems like we are looking at tomorrow now.

Kathy....been meaning to say thanks....the other half mentioned you were a big help to us when we were trying to get help for our cruise back in April.

I'll be back on later....someone else want to claim the TOTP!!!!!!

I am doing a bit better today still feeling stressed though.

Dan has registered with all the agencies and he has an interview next tuesday which is good.

I just had my hair coloured at the local college it is a deep brown with purpleish (dark red maybe) streaks looks quite nice and a lot cheaper than a salon.

I'll be keeping fingers and toes crossed Dan has a good interview with them and they can help him get a great new job.

Your hair sounds nice. I have never dyed mine but now that the grey is starting to take over, I may use a rinse to just cover the grey until it turns all grey. Then I will decide if I want to dye it or not. It sems like so much work to kep the roots from showing, all the touch ups and such.
I am sooooo lazy
