I miss you too!! It's been kinda rough... I haven't had much disboards time lately so couldn't maintain both boards!! This is the easy one to keep up with!

Chris is kind of a slave driver! My main problem is I haven't had a computer in the house as much lately. The laptop is supposed to come in but it was gone all weekend!

Anyway... I'll try and catch up with the gang on the other board as soon as I can!

HI Melanie,

yes I have the house I live in to sell. we have had one family come look at it and the possibility of another man in about a week. If it doesnt sell in a couple of weeks we will have to list it with a realtor and so the price will go way up!!

we have it priced rock bottom, we will only clear , maybe $5,000 if lucky. we put 106,000 down on it when we bought it and added over $60,000 in upgrades since then but still cant sell it in this bad market.

we are offering to pay $5,000 towards the buyers closing costs too.

we are asking $258.900 for a 6 bedroom 4 1/2 bath, loft, familyroom, living/diningroom, 3 car garage, screened in 15x30 foot pool with extra large 12x40 covered screened in patio, fenced in back yard, gutters ( most dont have gutters here) landscaped,painted and decorated throughout the inside, walk in panrty,Huge master bedroom with large bath, soaking tub and shower, 2 sink areas, 2 large walk in closets plus 2 more large closets in the bedroom.

It is a beautiful home, we are even putting in new carpets on monday in the family room, living room and dining room and we have ceiling fans/lights throughout the house.

In good times it would sell for about $400,000. I dont mind loosing ou rmoney, just wish it would sell so we dont loose our good credit because we cant keep making payments on it after we move, especially since Greg is unemployed right now.

Do you know anyone who want to move to florida or just to make an investment for the future, spread the word!!


I have been pricing more stuff for a final garage sale this saturday. I cant believe all the stuff we had in the 17 large closets we have here.

Plus my son has a ton of stuff he is selling and my other son too.

our garage is filled for the sale, the familyroom, family room and living room and all my kitchen counters are filled and I am not done yet, plus Randy doesnt have his stuff here yet and Greg has lots more tools to set out too.
we just did this 4 weeks ago and I didnt think there would be enough to do it again but boy was I wrong!!

I hate garage sales. I need to have one myself this spring. I should have really done it last fall to get rid of baby stuff! But I put it off because it is SO much work!!!

Nope... don't know anyone moving to Florida but it sounds like a steal! I hope the market turns around. It's going to hurt everyone if it doesn't!!

We're pretty tight right now too. It's our slow season and we're adjusting to my lack of paycheck. If we can't take the cruise in 2009, I plan on just pushing it forward to when we can! But... I'm not going to make any assumptions... you never know what could happen between then and now!

I haven't had time to watch the boards. Are they saying anything new about the new Disney ships?

Little intimidating posting to a board that is 25 pages long and the cruise is still 20+ months away!

We're not sure exactly what Nana heads are but you like mojitos and whips so how bad can you be!

we are a group who have cruised together before, more than once for some of us. we all hit it off so good we are try to go every year now. some go every 2 years.
we love to add new to our crazy BUNCH!!

Most are still posting for the 08 cruise, but we are planning for this 09 cruise too.

My name is Kathy, I am the MEAN lady with the whip who keeps after people to post, or it will be the whip for them It must work because we have alot of pages here already

It will just be us 2 old grandparents this time, as far as I know, some times the kids and grandkids come along too.we are in Florida but about to move to Oregon in 10 days, so will have to add air fare to the cost this time

I'm Melanie and I'll be cruising with my DH Chris and Alex who will be 6 1/2 and Jackson who will then be 3 1/2! Nice to meet you. The Nanas are a fun group. We cruised with them last year and a bunch are cruising this year as well. We can't go this year but are tentatively booked for 2009!

I notice you said it was your first 7 day western. Have you cruised the eastern before?

No need to be intimidated! Please post away... we need a little help keeping this board up where people can find it.
