Jeff,
those videos are so awesome!!!
Elizabeth really did an excellant job to remember such a long solo. She did great. You should be avery proud papa:thumbsup2

But I have to admit Emily stole my heart with her performance. She was so sweet and innocent looking and the last pose was actually precious looking to me. Just such a sweet look in her face and obviously so proud of herself.:cloud9:

Seeing those videos really perked up my evening a lot. Wish I could have seen them in person. I use to love to go to all our kids performances and ball games. They grow way too fast.

Kathy

Lets see restaurants at WDW??

We love the Rainforest restaurant and Planet hollywood if we get a bottom floor seat or a balcony seat right by the edge so we can look over and see everything. They are not themed Disney but are a nice change is you eat at alot of Disney places.

Chef Mickeys is our favorite for character meals and a very good buffet. Greg loves buffets rather than sit down most of the time. Just more relaxed and casual. We also tend to go for the fun themes like i mentioned above or lunch at Sci Fi Diner is always a treat. The food is just ok but the theme more than makes up for it. Of course we spent many a weekends at the drive ins cuddled in the back seat:love: So it is memory lane for us.

Where ever you go it is all good. When we have company we try for variety like The show at the Wilderness campground. Darn I cant think of the name but its a show and dinner served family style and it fills up fast. reservations only. Chicken is their speciality. Not a big choice of food but its good and you use your hands alot, so its fun for the kids too.
You probably know what I am talking about, if not Dawn will know.

My brain seems to have shut down for the night, nothing unusual about that:lmao:

For dessert go to The Yacht and Beach club for their Ice cream place. Beaches and cream? something like that. I love watching someone get the Kitchen sink there, it is HUGE!!! I think it feeds like 10 people:eek:

Kathy

Good Morning!

Kathy you thinking of the Trails End or Mickey's Backyard BBQ? We are doing the BBQ this summer when we go. Now our favorite is Japan grill (Teppan Edo). You eating at 1900 Park Fare? Have you tried The Wave since it has opened? How about Yak & Yeti?

Yeah, I agree with Kathy, Jeff. The girls really did well. It looked like Emily was at first looking in the audience to see if you were there!!

Well, the pool is up, crystal clear and the pump running and adding to my electric bill as I speak :scared1: Adding the water brought the temp down to 59 degrees! Brrrr. This week should warm it up fast!

Have a great day!

Just had another thought--you have ate at the T-Rex restaurant, haven't you? We want to eat there again, even though, it's not on the dining plan :sad2:

AND...don't forget about the new Picnic in the Park at AK. We are going to try that too!

Dawn, I remember now. It is right next to Trails End Buffet.
Its the Hoop De do Review:banana::banana::banana:

It took forever to remember that crazy name. Anyway it is good food and a cute show. Nice to see at least once if you havnt done it before.:thumbsup2

Kathy

Good morning everyone,

well it is a bit cloudy today but going to be 60 which is great. This morning we may get a sprinkle or two but its not suppose to last.
Today I have to get busy and map out places to stay along the way back to Florida.
Rising gas prices are killing my budget, so I need to be creative.

I am thinking about making a cake today . I have a few cookies left but may freeze some of them for later. They freeze really well.

No news around here today.

Back when I get some time, gotta work on our route back to Florida.

Kathy

Hi guys:

I didnt get to read to much....just wanted to pop in and say hello.....

But your all making me jealous....I really need a disney trip....I think I need my happy place.....

I do have some news....we have a contract on our house, however, its with a contingency that they have to sell their home. So keep your fingers crossed that they sell theirs in the next few weeks. So I think I am going to start looking for a place in a couple of weeks.

Well, one of the girls that works in the doctors office across the hall had a baby the same day that Heather did....she brought her baby in today, so I was able to get my "baby fix" and I got to hold her....which helped somewhat since I miss my little Isabella so much.....

So Greg, yes, we want to see lots of pictures from Aruba....
Jeff, I didnt watch the video yet...I will when I get home....I'm sure Elizabeth and Emily did a great job....they are such sweet girls.

Have a good one all
Denise:banana::banana::banana:

Just taking a break for lunch.
I just finished wrapping all kinds of food for the freezer.
I cooked some of the meat, so wont have to cook it later, just heat it up.

I made a meal loaf, enough meatballs for 2 spaghetti dinners, sausage patties for 2 breakfasts,6 hamburger patties, also cooked some meat for stew too. It was a lot of work but now i have several easy meals.

I also got some info for places to stay in California today too. I have alot of states to go to reach Florida:eek:

Hi Denise, nice to hear from you,

Kathy

Good afternoon Nana's!! :thumbsup2

Needed to come in the house and have some lunch. I finally got our roof fixed....just in time for the winds to pick up again!! Guess I'll see how good a job I did? :rolleyes1

I had 132 yards of top soil delivered today because Janel wants to plant some raspberry bushes and expand our lawn some more......like a 2 acre lawn isn't big enough already?! :lmao:

Dawn, I'm jealous that you've already got your pool going! I probably won't even think of filling ours until the end of June!

Kathy, how goes the trip planning? Are your renters out of your house in Florida now?

Denise, glad to see you stopped in.

Hi Greg,

Janel probably doesnt care about the lawn of raspberries she is just trying to keep you busy so you'll stay out of trouble:lmao: She knows you dont need any free time on your hands or you'll get in trouble:rolleyes1

I am making progress but its slow.
The road is all mapped out no problems just finding places to stay around the right distance apart and will take 2 large dogs.
I will be working at it all week. Probably next week too.

kathy

Evening:

Ok, I know that I dont post that often on here....so now I have a few questions to ask....

Kathy are you heading back to florida for good???? or just a trip????

Jeff: I watched the video, the girls did a great job...Emily was so adorable and I give a lot of credit to Elizabeth, I know I couldnt dance on stage by myself...(stage fright)...she did a great job....

Nothing much else going on

Denise:banana::banana::banana:

Denise, I only can see 1/2 of the photo you posted? Is it me or is there a problem??

Our move is suppose to be permanent. But if theres not enough work we will rent our place again and who knows where we will be??
But work has picked up there for remodeling both residental and commercial and he can do both. He does have a business partner there and lots of connections.

So keep your fingers crossed and send tons and tons of pixie dust, we need it!!!

Kathy
So we are hopefully going to be able to stay again:thumbsup2

Hi Greg! I was getting groceries. Too early for Kathy yet. Suppose to be 80 today and sunny! Really enjoying the weather!

Denise, Congrats on the house! Question for you--is your house off the market while they try to sell their house?

Off to finish laundry, eat some brunch with Alexis and snap some beans for dinner.

I miss all of you!

Hi Dawn,
fresh beans sounds yummy!!! Greg loves them. Once in awhile I iwll cook some with onions and bacon and its an entire meal in itself.

Hi Greg,
Your just up and going extra early due to all that work Janel has lined up for you:lmao: Tell Janel if she needs to borrow my whip to keep you working, just let me know. She is welcome to it;)

We also have nice sunshine. Going to be around 70 each day through the weekend but in the 40's at night. Brrrrrr!!!!

Have a magical day everyone,

Kathy

wow, things are really slow here on this board....

yes, I can still show the house...and I actually have a showing tonite....but what happens is..If we get another bid, and they dont have a house to sell, we go back to the first person, and let them know about the bid and they have 72 hours to decided to continue and buy the house at that time or drop the contract completely....then in that case the second person gets the house....

It's really nice here today also....in the 80's I hope it sticks around for awhile...going to Sue's this weekend for bar b que with just the girls.....

later

Kathy

Well, I've been the one cracking the whip the past few days. I had a lot of projects around the house that needed done.

So far we've replaced the shingles after the wind storm we had. I've mowed the lawn. We hauled in 132 yards of top soil and have been getting it spread around and smoothed out, so we can pour a concrete pad and build a BBQ/Fire pit so we can roast hot dogs and marsh mellows in the back yard. Chayce and I have been seal coating our asphalt driveway...all 330 feet of it!! I trimmed all of our 62 trees yesterday and fertilized 2 acres of lawn! :faint:

I've still gotta run new underground sprinkler lines for the new section of lawn and get grass seed planted. I've got to order a load of bricks and cement mix so I can brick up the fire pit, but I think I'll wait until we're back from Aruba to do that because I'm running out of steam! :sad2:
