Has anyone heard anymore about trying for a 2011 bananahead reunion cruise on the new ship for the traditional week after Thanksgiving?

There was alot of talk on the cruise last year and Bill mentioned 2011 once somewhere?

We are still interested in that. Plenty of time to save for it and we had thought about booking it on our 2010 cruise to get the room credit or if we do a 3 day before then we would book it then, if its opened up by then.

Good, when i get some time I will start sending out e-mails to nanaheads to get them thinking about it again. I hope lots of them will be able to go.
I know the economy hit lots of us hard this year but 2011 is plenty of time to save for it:thumbsup2

Good Morning!

Hi Denise, glad to hear that you can still show your house!:thumbsup2 Now that you have one potential buyer it might spur some others into making an offer!

Hi Kathy, We are booked for the 2010 cruise but if enough of the others want to do 2011 we would probably move from the 2010 :confused3. That is how I usually make our green beans with potatoes, onions and bacon. Skylar loves it, as do I. I had strawberries and strawberry sugar free angel food cake for dessert.

Hi Greg, Don't hurt yourself before your vacation!! :scared1:

Hi Jeff, When do you leave? We made most of our ADR's this week. Got everyone of them on the day that we wanted it! :woohoo:

Off to start to get ready for the garage sale this Saturday. Check back in later.

Good morning everyone!

Busy day here again. I've got a lot to do before next week. :faint:

Brayden's last day of preschool is today. He got his school shots yesterday, so his legs are a little sore this morning. :scared: He's excited to be starting kindergarten this year.

Chayce and Nicole's last day of school is next Wednesday and they are really excited for summer break! :woohoo:

I'm excited for summer break because I'll have more helpers around the house! :lmao:

Morning all,

Way to go Dawn:cool1: Top of the page:thumbsup2Now thats the way to start the morning;)

We have another beautiful morning here and suppose to be that way for a week. YEAH!! Sorry Greg I have no rain to send your way this week:guilty:

I am going to work more on our plan to get back to Florida today. I found soem good sites for private RV camps along the way. Just have to contact them to see if they allow 2 large dogs or not.

Who has plans for Memorial day weekend??

We are just going to my moms. Greg will go to his moms and I will be working at my moms friday evening, saturday and sunday morning. I hope to try and see her again. It has bee n 3 weeks since I have seen her.
Her mind is not in a social mood lately. My brother tried yesterday to see her but she still hadnt improved so NO visit for him either.
Good news is we have a lady who wants to buy her place in August or September. That was good news.

No other news around here. I am going to try and take a quick nap. I didnt fall asleep until after 3 a.m. and was up at 6 a.m. so I am very tired today.

Back later,

Kathy

Happy Thursday all.

Just trying to get some work done today. Finally made the rest of our ADRs for our June trip last night. We waited a bit too long but still got almost everything we wanted. We are going to: Narcoossees for Father's Day, Cinderella's Royal Table for breakfast, 50s Prime Time Diner for lunch, Kona Cafe for Dinner, Chef Mickey's for dinner, BOMA for Dinner and Chefs de France for lunch (to see Remy from Ratatouille).

This weekend we are heading to Cleveland to meet up with Shell and Bill on Saturday. We are going to overnight there and we are taking a boat ride on Lake Erie (alas no Quiet Cove Pool on this ship) and going to dinner. We are also hoping to meet up with Gailyn and her family.

Hope everyone has a Happy Memorial Day!

Jeff

Afternoon all.

Wow! That was fast!

I posted our snow blower and pressure washer on "Craig's List" at about 1pm...15 minutes later I got a call from someone who wanted to come look at them.....25 minutes later he was here and bought them!!

I listed and sold two items in less then an hour!!....I'm still stunned!!

Ok, that's pretty bad when Jeff is the last one to post besides me at 9am this morning?!

I'm having my doubts that this is really a Nanahead thread? :rolleyes1

Good Morning Greg :wave2: We had baseball last night. A really bummer of a team that we played--kindda made the night not so fun. They ended up mercying (how do you say that?) during our up to bat during the 4th ending. The player made the 10 point spread so why continue :confused3--yeah, that's how the night went. The other coach YELLED at the players, the ump was horrible making VERY bad calls--even their own field referee got involved in the calls. Oh my, don't want to play them again. Just bad sportsmanship all around--by the adults.

The temp reached 87 degrees yesterday! Back down to in the 70s now--more seasonal.

Denise, how did your showing go?
Greg, I can't believe the kids are out of school already! We go until June 9th.
Kathy, did you find some places to stay?

Have a great Memorial Day weekend everyone!

Hi all! I tried to go back and read the old posts but I've got a short attention span and the boss is coming down for a meeting in less than 5 minutes! :goodvibes

I do know that I need to go back further to find the dance video. I'll watch that at home tonight.

Life with us has been busy/stressed. My sister was in the hospital Friday night for extremely high blood sugar. Her daughter (my niece) broke her nose in a basketball game the next day. And my little nephew (other sister) ended up in 2 hospitals from Tuesday morning through Wednesday evening. Turned out that he had a bad strep infection in his body (not his throat). It caused him severe pain in his abdomen and legs. Ended up being transported to a children's specialized hospital by ambulance. :scared1: Poor guy was such a trooper. I've never seen him sit still for so long in one place. In fact I asked my sister when he got freckles on his nose. She told me he always had them. :confused3 Apparently he runs by so fast that I never noticed them. Some aunt I am. :goodvibes Anyway, I've spent quite a bit of time hanging out in hospitals this week. Hopefully that's all past us.

No big plans for the weekend. The girl scouts are marching on Sunday in the parade. So I get to do the 1.5 mile hike. Eek!!

Have a good weekend all!!

Howdy everyone,
been busy doing laundry and packing for the weekend at moms for cleaning.

Jeff, sounds like your all set for WDW. Wish we were a few days sooner so we could connect up but that probably wont happen. Greg has to finish up a few work related things before we can go.
Please give Bill & Shell a BIG hug from me!! I miss them too.

Dawn, I know what you mean about bad sportsmanship at kids games. It seems to get worse and worse and usually its the parents causing most of the trouble. They always forget this is suppose to be fun for the kids and character building too. This is not the pros!!!

I am still working on places to stay. To get us across the U.S. at the right driving distance each day takes about 30 hours of research on line and 2 more hours of calling places to see if they allow 2 big dogs. Their web sites dont always give all the info we need. So I am just getting started.

I will work really hard next week. This last week I was still not feeling very well and just didnt have any energy.

Greg,
when we decided to move back for awhile to Oregon we put up several items for sale on Craigs list and all but one item sold the first day.
Everytime we decided to clean out a major item we did that and sold every last thing.
The little things we sold at our garage sale I had set out on card tables inside so when people came to buy the Craigs lsit items they also saw the garage sale items and I would casually say, I'm getting ready for a garage sale, if you see anything you like let me know. I sold a lot fo stuff that way too:goodvibes
We too were flabergasted the first time we used it.

We have bought things from it too. Often when we called things were sold the first day but sometimes we were first and got it.:thumbsup2

Howdy Allison,

gosh I'm sorry to hear about all the medical problems. I hope everyone gets well fast!!;) That is so hard , especially with a child. At least they know whats wrong so they can treat it. Please keep us posted.
Here is some pixie dust for everyone, including you!

pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:

I am about to leave for moms. Another long weekend for all of us.
Have a great 3 day weekend everyone,

Kathy

Greg, I just remember I didnt sell my wicker shelves that i listed on Craigs list, so it is in storage. I need to keep me being an honest woman:lmao:
But the rest sold.

Kathy

Good morning!

Looks like I'm the first one here this morning? :rolleyes1

I spent most all day yesterday trying to "manage a flood". We had so much snow fall this past winter that we've now got a lot of water coming down the river.

So far so good. No ones gotten flooded yet, but the system is at maximum capacity.....any more water comes down and I won't have room for it.

I was crossing over one of the canals on a "walking board" last night.....one that I've walked over hundreds of times, but for some reason it didn't hold my weight last night?........the board snapped and I went into the drink.

The water coming down from the Rocky Mountains this time of year is just above freezing.....about 40 degrees! The shock of falling in that cold of water was unbelievable! It only took seconds before my core temperature dropped and I couldn't feel my arms and legs anymore! :scared1:

I managed to get to the bank and pulled myself out of the water. The heat rising up from my motorcycle engine help keep me warm on the drive back home.
Once I got home my wife noticed that my lower left legs was all bloody?! I must of hit something when I landed in the water because I had a really deep gash across my leg just below my knee cap and blood was just oozing out of it. I didn't feel it because my body was so numb from the cold. :scared:

Good thing my wife is a nurse. :goodvibes

Anyway, this morning I'm feeling it! My whole body hurts! I've got bruises in places I didn't know could get bruised?! :lmao:

Guess I'd better break out the pain pills and walking cane from last years motorcycle accident, so I can get back to work. :rotfl2:

Have a good day everyone! :cool1:
