Glad you made it home safe and sound! Am I the only one in depression now that it is over? LOL I hope we are not going to let our thread die down! It would be a shame, especially since we all made some good friends on our trip! I would like to keep posting here! Anyways, I hate that some I did not get to meet. I was able to meet and spend a lot of time with Gailyn (popovich), Diane (njcruisers), April (aprilriddle), Curt (curts). I meet, although briefly, kimbremen,missmulan,traceycooper,scrappy,sandyny and dtuleya and bodickmagic (wendyleigh) I wish we had more time to meet ladies! Everyone else, howcome we didnt meet? LOL

amanda, thank you for starting this thread. i'm not a very talkative person in person but still, i was happy to know that i know people from disboards on the ship. my hubby caught me on here last nite and he said "jen, now that the cruise is over, you don't need to check disboards". what does he know! we watched our video last night. i wish he had more coverage because i'm "homesick" for the "sea"....get it????

We had such a great time meeting you all and Chase misses Mathew and Mathew (NJ cruiser and Popovich)
DH thought I was crazy on these boards but admitted repeatedly on the cruise that meeting you all made it much more fun.
I didn't get a chance to tell you about this but at dinner we were seated with another mom, dad, and 4y/o family from Canada. They were there because their son was diagnosed with lukemia at age 15 months and just finished THREE years of treatement. It was a type of make a wish foundation trip. What a humbling experience and an honor to get to share in their joy.
Curt and Steph, what a beautiful job you are doing with those kids. Your family will remain in our prayers. John and I really enjoyed brunch with you and the Popovich's.
The ladies tea was one of the best parts of my trip and I loved hearing all of your stories.
Denise and Tama, it was fun buying out the store at Castaway Cay with you guys.
Izzinmac it was nice to meet your family and connect with other Christians, that's one nice wife you've got there.
Finally, did anybody see that guy propose on the ship ar hear how he did it?

Re: the guy who proposed on the ship.... His name is Travis and he proposed, to Jackie, very simply & privately after purchasing the ring in St. Martin.

Mark, Savannah & I became friends w/ them & his parents b/c they were the very 1st people we met at the gates before the port opened & the very last we saw at the airport as we had back-to-back flights to Phili. Throughout the entire cruise, we kept bumping into them everywhere we went and thus, had the opportunity to get to know them. It was nice to be able to congratulated them & then share w/ Jackie how much we all [pretty much the entire cruise] knew about the whole proposing dilema. I think she got a kick out of it...how everyone knew about it but her.

It was funny how we met...when they arrived at the gate, we all started talking & they said they were from PA & I immediately asked him if his name was Travis & when I told him who I was, we all knew who we had met. I immediately had to pull dh to the side [b/c he's my absent-minded professor] & remind him not to mention anything about they surprise engagment Travis was plng.

Hey Folks...and millie!

Jackie is still staring at the ring, showing everyone possible! lol She is still on cloud 9 lol.

We really enjoyed meeting Millie and family! They are great! It's nice putting a face with name you get to know over the months.

Oh Millie I will answer this.... dzneprincess...yes she saw the ring. Come to central PA and she will show you the ring too! SHE SHOWS STRANGERS!!!!!!!!

I do have a picture that I need to figure out how to post on here of both of us!

Hi guys, we're back in dreary, dull & COLD England after 8 hours flying and 4 hours driving & i've already been to work!!
Hope you all had a great cruise - dzneprincess did you enjoy your brunch?
I thought it was fantastic.
Loved meeting you all, i will admit i cried like a baby when we had to leave the ship & say goodbye to Darci & her adorable family. The crew member who was saying goodbye as we got off the ship tried to cheer me up by drowning me in pixie dust but it didnt work!
I need to re-book to cheer myself up, gotta go and work on Gary now to persuade him!!

Ah tracey, welcome back to reality, It stinks, huh? I am glad to see that you made it home safe and sound! If it is any condolence to you, it has rained everday here in Columbus GA since we got back also. I like to think someone is crying for me, since I am so sad about not being on the ship anymore! I did love that brunch. I enjoyed meeting everyone at the tea, but I did not care for the tea itself. If I ever go to a mini DIS get together in PALO again, I am going to suggest brunch.
Wendy Leigh, I totally spaced about getting that memory book from you. Are you back yet?

This is too funny, but I recognize both of you. We were both in the reception are of the Vista Spa on Friday evening. I was waiting for my Chakra appointment and the two of you were there with your parents! I think your mom had just finished up with some treatment and was buying products. If I would have known it was you I would have said congrats in person!!

i just picked up my nine packages of pictures and i am so NOT happy with my camera! my DH has another 388 pictures in his digital camera and only a few can make the "holiday card" cut. i'm so bummed!

I feel the same way about our photos too.... I took 1,491 digital pics and there are only a hand full that could make the Christmas card cut. I think we will use one of the DCL photos that we purchased. BTW not all the photos were taken on the cruise, also spent 4 days at WDW taking photos

Ditto. My pictures are not that good as well and I was so disapointed .

I bought some on the ship which were great and now I wish I bought more. Does anyone know if they keep them or if there is any way to track them down?

I miss this vacation so much and I hope everyone is doing well. I bought a MICKEY inflatable holiday lawn decoration to make myself feel better, the kids love it but it's no Mickeyboat. I wish we rebooked on board so I would feel better.

You guys make me feel better! My friends are making fun of me because I took over 1200 pictures on the trip. That was just the flight down the day before and meeting traceycooper before we got on the ship. I am using a picture of us on Formal night with Minnie that the ship took for my Christmas cards. I scanned the photo and sent it to Wal-Mart.com and my cards were ready in an hour. I wish I had done that with my trip photos. Sent them to Snapfish early Tuesday and they weren't shipped til Thursday. I even spent the extra money to 2 day them since I really wanted them for this week-end. I don't think they are going to make it until Monday. I am so sad! I really want to start my scrapbook!!!!!!!!

Have been meaning to ask you. Did you have any trouble getting from the port? We stood outside and waited for my husband to go get the rental car after getting off the ship. We were one of the last ones off. Anyway, when I got off I noticed a man standing there with a sign that said "Bremner". I thought that he was probably waiting for you. Later on we saw him walk away with the sign still in his hand. Any ideas???????

Hey guys- It's been raining here for almost the whole week, cold, damp and miserable
I got my pictures back yesterday, they didn't come out as good as I would have liked either. I'm glad I bought some photos on the ship and wish we had taken more with the pros.
I did get out Xmas cards on the ship so now all I have to do is print labels and get them in the mail. So glad I'm not stressing about that.
I am so not ready for the holidays, I really want to be back in the Carribean!
