SandyNY--You're good! The Snow White thing was a secret until I was found out on these boards! It didn't help running after the UPS guy last week wearing the outfit, though--his timing was REALLY bad.
Amanda--we haven't started packing yet, even with the gaggle. All we've done is put our packing lists together. I imagine we'll wait until the Tuesday before, sit and drink a glass of wine to contemplate our packing list, pack 1/2 of a suitcase, sip some more wine and contemplate the list some more, finish the first suitcase, then celebrate with some wine and start on the second...you get the idea. By the time we get to the fourth suitcase and our third bottle, we'll just be flinging anything in that we can think of.
I agree about kids' activities. We let each one pick a sport to try and, if they like it, we keep them enrolled, otherwise it isn't worth the trouble. We've been through every olympic sport and some that the Olympic Committee hadn't even thought of and finally settle on Tae Kwon Do--it's good for them, they enjoy it and I can be involved. Plus, it makes us a lot less stressed too. If we did everything offered to the kids, we would spend our evenings in the car.
April--I'm sorry you lost your game. I've seen some of those huge kids playing 10-12 year old football--I'm amazed they grow them that big! I hope it wasn't our support--like I said, we haven't done well with our beloved Colts (who hopefully will not embarass themselves Monday night).

My hand was shaking writing a check that big. I don't think I've written a check that large since we closed on our house. Nothing can kill the joy of a small countdown clock like writing the check for the cruise. Maybe I'm just cheap, but seeing that much money go out at once for a "luxury" gives me the heebie jeebies. I know we'll have a great time and this trip was saved for, but still. I'll just have to recover for a few days. Maybe I'll go eat some ice cream to soften the blow...
