11/26/2011 EARLY Bananahead reunions cruise

zhere I am in one of Cinderella's dresses on stage in the WD theater.
Of course I am too fat to fasten it properly around me and I am fully dressed under it.

Here is Greg in a Princes outfit, same situation.

For Platnum members they had a special tour of the theater. We even got to ride the lift down to deck 2 where props and actors get on it and appear on the stage coming up from the floor. There are 3 lifts. Boy they have alot of stuff stored down there for each show. It was a great tour.

Kathy

That is awesome Kathy:thumbsup2.

He seems nice enough. I only got to visit with him for a couple of minutes, so I don't know that much about him yet.

I guess his wife died about 7 years ago. She was a school bus driver and somehow managed to avoid a serious accident that would of killed most of the kids on the bus, but she managed to maneuvered the bus in such a way that it killed her, but saved all the kids. The city erected a monument in her honor at the city park.

I'm not going to get to excited until my mother shows up with a ring on her finger and a wedding invitation for me.

OMG that is sooooo sad.

Very cool......

Ya know I'm most likely going to go on the 2012.....I'm thinking of a 4 day in 2011 with Christine.....but still in the "thinking" stage. I really want some of my family to come along, and I'm thinking 2012 will work out best....I'm talking my son and his girlfriend on coming along.....but they keep saying their first cruise they dont want to do "disney"......:confused3 I just dont know how the disney gene skiped both my kids...... but now I have Isabella and boy am I gonna brainwash her. Anyway, if I keep threating errr I mean asking them.....I might be able to convience them....Heather is easier to convience now.....since she's a mom.....shes getting to be a little more "disneyfied" :woohoo:

Denise:banana::banana:

Kathy, had I known that you and Greg were going to be part of the entertainment. I would of booked the cruise and gone along just to see it! :lmao:

It looks like it was a lot of fun.

It was a cool tour. Greg doesnt know I posted his picture yet:lmao:
I am waiting until he finally gets time to lurk on the boards again.
I am sure I will hear about it:rotfl2:

Morning all,

Denise, you just keep working on Isabella. If you get her tuned into Disney characters her mom will naturally want her to get to see them.:thumbsup2
My dd was the same way. She never cared about DCL until she had kids now she loves it as much, maybe more than they do:thumbsup2

Last night was a nasty wind storm. The coast was 89 MPH gust and we got around 60 MPH. It really rocked the RV and actually moved the metal dumpster off the concrete onto the grassy area. It is on wheels but still extremely heavy and hard to move so that was a lot of wind to take care of it.

Now its dumping rain with no end in site for the next 5 days at least. It was 47 this morning and 50 is the high for the day.
Oc course it is going to be in the 30's at night after today:eek: I really need to go back to Florida and the Caribbean to thaw out again;)
Snow in the hills around us too.

Greg hows your snow level??

Kathy

I finally got the Bulk uploader to work on Photo bucket late yesterday so all my photos are finally downloaded. So now I can share photos a few at a time.
I still have laundry to put away but at lunch time I will try to post a few more photos for you guys.

I am moving slow but my headache is better for now, so hopefully I will get some stuff done today. I need to get groceries but wont even attempt it until the weekend.

Have a great day everyone and I will check back around my lunch time with a few more photos.

60mph winds?! I'm surprises it didn't blow your RV over! :scared1:

Here are a few photos in no particular order.

here is the semi sub we went on.

This small shark stayed with us the whole tour. He has learned food is coming if he stays with the boat.

When in the sub you look green and things will change color. Purple turns to pink. Teeth are also green looking and tongues are purple.

Awesome pictures!!

It looks like you guys had beautiful weather. Those ice sculpture's are amazing!

The pictures are making me wish we could leave for our cruise, but we still have 128 days to go.

Keep em comin'!

Oh NUTS!!!
I should have been counting posts so Greg wouldn't have got the top.:confused3

Oh well, it's pouring rain still. Snow in the mountains.

I will post more photos tomorrow,:thumbsup2

Good night all,

Kathy

Happy Wednesday everyone,
Dang its cold here. I am freezing my Mickey ears off today:lmao:
In the 30's with 2 more wind and rain storms starting this afternoon.

Greg, I hope those ducks have their long johns and water wings handy for the weekend, they're gonna need them:rotfl2:

I have started my trip report but have a long ways to go. I figure by next week I should have it all ready, I hope.

I will try and post a few more photos this afternoon.

Hope your all staying warm and safe,

will check back later,

Kathy

Good afternoon everyone.

Kathy, Janel and Chayce were over in Eugene this past weekend to see the ducks play. They said it was really cold then

I just finished ordering a new computer for the kids for Christmas, but ended up getting one with the fastest processor they make to be able to handle editing our HD vacation videos.

I'll check in later.....

Did you order my present too?:rolleyes1

I need a warm ski suit to keep myself warm this year.

I think I will hint for a snuggie to keep me warm. I like the idea of having my arms free while staying covered and warm. Trouble is Minnie will want to snuggle in it too.:lmao: I wonder if they make doggie snuggies in her size?

Kathy

The sun has come out and the sky is pretty clear but that's what they said would happen for a couple of hours between storms.
At least I got to walk the girls without hurting due to the cold.

I think I will fix tacos tonight. Sounds nice and easy to me.:thumbsup2

Quiet day here today,

Kathy

I just found out the Trans-Siberian Orchestra is going to be playing in SLC next Wednesday. I'll have to see if Janel can get next Wednesday off, so we can drive down and see them. :thumbsup2

Tacos sounds good! I've got a roast in the slow cooker along with some potatoes, carrots, onions and garlic for dinner tonight. I needed to do something quick and easy also....Chayce and Brayden have karate classes tonight.

I love my slow cooker:goodvibes
I use it all the time in the winter. Roasts, stews ,chili, soups, swiss steak, even chicken with all the trimmings. It also helps keep it heated up in here.

I will be doing grocery shopping this weekend, of course Turkey day is coming but I think a roast sounds very good for a change.

I imagine your cooker is a wee bit larger than mine is.:lmao:
I use to have a huge one, now its tiny. But plenty large enough for us.

Hope you get to go to the concert:thumbsup2

Kathy

Evening all:

Well the weather here has been pretty cruddy.....havent seen the sun in a few days just gray dreary skies......rained this morning and only in the mid to low 40's......yuk!!! I hate this weather. I cant belive that next week it will be 1 year since we went on the cruise.....I cannot believe how fast the time as gone by.

Well we had a staff meeting today and I guess people are complaining about other people being on the computer for "personal" stuff......so I guess I will have to back off on coming on the boards at lunch time. Dont want to make any more waves......I really need a new job.

Anyway, we also got our turkey from work today.....now all I have to do is go shopping and get all the side stuff.....
I'm thinking of putting my tree up this weekend. Yes, its a week early, however, I havent put up any christmas decorations for 2 years and I figured what the heck.....so that's my plan for this weekend. Then I will start my christmas shopping after TG and I should be set.!!

Well you have a good evening.....

later

here is the new double slide at CC.

DSC04478.jpg

This crane was apparently building a new jetty wall near the slide to keep the waves out.

Contstruction right next to the dock. Not sure what its all about there?
