11/26/2011 EARLY Bananahead reunions cruise

Hey Greg did you see those webbed footed Ducks waddled all over Washington today.:banana::banana:

Washington??? What game were you watching? They played against UCLA today and won 24-10! :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

They play Washington on the 24th in Seattle. I just bought airfare for my in-laws to fly up and watch the game. Janel wants us to fly up too, but I get a better seat right here in my living room in front of my plasma tv. :rotfl2:

I was just testing you to make sure you were on your toes tonight after not realising you got the top twice:rolleyes1

You passed the test with an A+.:thumbsup2

Where is everyone today?

Dawn, how are the boys doing in soccer?

It looks like Chayce is down with the flu this morning! :sad2:

So far I'm the only one who has managed to ward it off....for now?!

Howdy Greg, I'm here.
Just got a late start. We buttoned down everything and drove to the gas station to get propane. Guess what they ran out of and they didnt even know it. They kept trying to fill our tank saying we must have something wrong with our tank.
Greg asked them if they could be out and they said NO WAY we just got our shipment last week,. Finally the guy checked and they were out;)
Wont get more until tuesday or wednesday. With Gregs work schedule we don't have time to drive 35 miles to find another place right now and I dont drive the RV.

Boy am I glad i have an electric heater. It is in the 30's at night.

I dont want to use the hot water because it will use a lot of the 1/8th of a tank we still have. I want that for early morning when we first get up to get the chill out of the air. So no dishes to wash for a couple of days.

Sorry to hear Chayce is ill now. Hopefully he will bounce back soon.

Today is my day to go through papers and organise this place after having my FE gift stuff all over the place.
The sun is out shinning brightly now and we are in the 50's, hopefully hit upper 60's by late afternoon.
Thats all from Oregon for this morning.

Back later,

Kathy

Hi Kathy,

Will the propane company deliver it to you? I know they do it here.

Just rent one of their bigger tanks and you won't have to refill for a year....or longer? :thumbsup2

Sorry, I haven't been on to check on things. Don't have time to go back. The flu still spreading in the family. I'm sure you've got that Lysol going!:scared1:

Soccer is still in full swing untl October 28th--then everything stops. Won't know what to do with myself then :rotfl:

Hi everyone,
Dawn i am glad to see you. I figured you had been busy with sports..

My oldest DD has a campfire troop and they had a weekend campout last weekend. Her kids are young this year.
They did a Sasquatch hunt and the kids found some "Droppings" they couldnt identify. (they teach dear, bear and other droppings) So her little kids were convinced they might have Sasquatch droppings and they insisted on putting them in secure container to bring back to show their families:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:
I would love to see the look on mom and dads faces:lmao:

Cold today, 34 right now and everything is frosty outside.:cold:
Rain is coming tonight and the rest of the week but not before we are 27 tonight:scared1:

Well time to snuggle under a thermal blanket for a couple of hours until it warms up some.

Have a great day everyone,

Kathy

Hi all:

Sorry I was MIA this weekend......it was a busy weekend around here....my son came over saturday morning and we trimmed all my bushes and trees...and did that clean up.....and since he helped me with that the deal was I would bring over my carpet cleaner and do his bedroom carpet.....so I did that for him....then went to dinner and sat around saturday evening watching tv.
Sunday my friend Jay and I went and saw the Smother Brothers at our local theather.....it was such a great show. They still have it, they were sooo funny. We had such a good time. So I was pretty busy most of the weekend....now back at work a normal busy monday......we have had a few reported cases in our office of swine flu:sick:.....so I'm hoping to stay well so I can make my trip at the end of the month to see Izzy and Heather.

Greg: I see Chayce is sick....hope he starts to feel better soon....

Cool & gray here.....really need some sun and a little warmer weather, but I have a feeling that wont happen for another 6 months or so!!:scared1:

Well have a good one all

Afternoon Dawn, Kathy & Denise. :wave2:

Chayce woke up this morning and said he was feeling better and wanted to go to school. That was a quick recovery?! :thumbsup2

The sun is trying to poke out from behind the clouds.....hopefully it will warm up a little. I tried to winterize our sprinkler system this weekend, but it was already frozen!

I don't think anything is broken yet, but if it doesn't thaw before to long so I can blow the water out of the lines it will freeze and break the lines and I'll have to replace them all next spring. :sad2:

Sasquatch droppings....I've heard it all now! :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

So Dawn, after Oct. 23rd we'll be expecting you to post at least once a day here. :thumbsup2

Denise, we went to a Smother Bros. show last year....it was really good! :lmao:

Hi Dense,
Dont you guys get the first round of flu shots there to protect the workers?
Hope you dont catch anything.

I am taking my own hand sanitizer to WDW and our cruise next month and I will carry it on me so I can use it constantly. I have a small carry on size and then just refill it as needed. I think if we get anything it will be on the plane or ship where your enclosed together.

Greg, Kids can bounce back fast sometimes,t hats great he is well enought to want to go back to school already.

Quiet day around here today. What sun there is, is peeking in the window on the couch so the pups lay there to snooze most of today. Its warmed up to 54 and I dont think it will get much warmer. 27 tonight is way too cold for me, especially this early in the season.

Time for lunch,
Greg i hope your pipes thaw enough to blow out the water. You seem to have a problem with water and leaks?:confused3 Did a witch doctor put a water curse on you when you were born or something:lmao:

Kathy

Only 34 days till we leave for San Juan :woohoo::woohoo: And the one thing I am most thankful about is NOT having to pack FE gifts! I get the suitcases ALL TO MYSELF! ;)

Not to mention all the space you saved on BFF gifts since ita a bffless trip:guilty:

Morning all,

We have Propane!!!!:banana::banana::banana:

Well our 27 degrees never came. The rains came early and pushed the cold air out fast.:thumbsup2 Of course now we have rain, rain and more rainall week long:sad2:

Not much going on here today.

Lets stay off page 2 everyone,
Back at lunch to bump us again.

Kathy

I'm here!

I've still been busy getting things ready for winter around here.

Finally got my sprinkler lines thawed out and winterized....luckily there was no freeze damage to them. :worship:

I'll check in later....

Sounds like fun Greg:lmao:

Its pouring rain still here with very strong wind gusts. Up to 50 MPH in gusts they predict. I know it really shakes the RV when it hits from the side.
All the leaves are falling or rather being blown off the trees today.
I just took the pups out and boy the took care of business fast! They dont like the rain either. Now they are all snuggled up napping.

I made an apple pie today and now to relax. Cube stks for dinner tonight. Nice easy day for me.

Later all,

Kathy

Kathy, you can keep your wind in Oregon....I don't want it over here!

Well, we're official now!...I just booked our cabin for our Mediterranean cruise next year. We got such a good deal that I booked the 2br penthouse! :woohoo:

Congrats on the penthouse!!
That beats my news.:worship:
Greg just upgraded us from a cat 12 to a cat 7 GTY for our cruise next month. So we both got a great room. With all your kids a 2 bedroom penthouse will be great! Take photos of it for us to see.:goodvibes

Kathy

Cat. 7....that's a balcony isn't it? Nice! :thumbsup2

You guys leave in another 3 weeks don't you?

Yeah, a 2br penthouse should be pretty nice. Both Nicole and Holly will celebrate their birthdays on the cruise and Nicole is excited that the penthouse comes with a Butler. She asked me what a Butler doesn't?....I told her I wasn't sure, probably gets things for you. :lmao:
