I sneak out early to do my shopping, and Brantley steals the top, he is as sneaky as a lawyer :lmao:

It was 94 today and its still 83 at 9:30 at night. It's going to be a hot one tonight. We have 7 days of over 90 and 3 days of over 100 to look forward to for the next week:scared:

I am ready to just stay in for the next few days and try and stay cool.:thumbsup2

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.:goodvibes

I'll check back in the morning,

Kathy

Good Morning!

Brantley, I have had Elizabeth since Friday morning. She is watching Little Mermaid 2 right now so that I can get a few things done! :lovestruc Her mom and dad went to Chicago for their anniversary.

Kathy, you didn't go see your mom this weekend? Done with the house? Sorry if I missed you saying something earlier. I remember you saying that Greg's mom is going to have your mom's house...

Good morning all,

Dawn, not done with the house yet. The outside is all done.
We have left some furniture for me to use when i stay there to visit my mom. It is just so far to go in a day. So that will need to be moved out then clean the place. But my MIL wont be moving until September or October so we have plenty of time which is good. Its just been too hot to clean there lately.
We have 3 days over 100 this week and nothing below the low 90s and she only has a little AC unit in the kitchen window which does nothing accept for the kitchen.

I will visit mom next weekend. She is not feeling well this weekend anyway and both my brothers have gone to see her, so she wont be lonesome and I sent her a cute card. She loves mail. She is the only one who gets mail, accept at Christmas so the nurses make a big fuss over it to her so she feels very special.

Its going to be another hot one today. It was 60 at 6 a.m. already. I cooked off some noodles and eggs early for a macaroni salad this morning. When I'm done on line they should be cooled of enough to make the salad then refrigerate for dinner time.
Decided to have a hot breakfast too since I already was heating up the kitchen. Toast, eggs, hash browns and bacon. That will be the last I cook for the week due to the heat. If anything is served hot it will be nuked in the microwave:thumbsup2

Hope everyone is having a great weekend,

Kathy

Good morning everyone! :wave2:

Just checking in to see what going on. :thumbsup2

Going to be another hot one here in Idaho today.

Later.....

Yeah and we'll have an ocean to play in to make the heat more tolerable. :thumbsup2

It's Orlando I'm worried about! :scared1:

I think we'll get tickets to Wet n Wild and Aquatica and possibly try both of Disney's water parks to beat the heat.

Evening:

I have been sooooo busy this weekend. I had to buy a new carpet cleaner so I picked one up friday night and started shampooing carpeting.
I have a large family room so I did half friday and then finished it yesterday..... I knew it was dirty, but I just could not belive how dirty it really was.....it looks really good now....even tho I have blisters on my hand.:confused3

Went to my sis-in-laws for graduation party, then today to my dads and do some errends and now just relaxing....just finished up my laundry. I'm pooped but gee I get to go to work tomorrow!!!!:thumbsup2

Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend.

Go early, be there a few minutes before they open or you'll be 2 hours waiting in line for every slide they have. Never been to Aquatica because it is new but Wet and Wild maxes out early everyday. So go early and expect crowds but it is lots of fun:thumbsup2

Some friend of ours just got back from Orlando and said that Monday through Thursday was really slow at all the parks until about 4:30pm then it gets busy. Friday through Sunday they said was crazy.

Our plan is to do the parks during the weekday and then we're headed to Discovery cove on Friday/Saturday....Sunday we'll just hang at the condo and relax. :faint:

Morning everyone,
Greg going on week days is the way to go:thumbsup2 Sounds like you have a good plan .Be sure and have a back up plan in case the typical thunderstorms appear in the afternoon. Most summers they roll in every afternoon and its too dangerous to stay outside.

Well today is suppose to hit 100, 103 tomorrow and 100 on Wednesday:faint:

We turned off the AC around 10 last night and opened all the windows, it was still 83 degrees and 64 when I got up at 6 this morning.
At my DD's house in Salem it only got down to 73 last night:scared:

I figure by 8 I will have to close up all the windows and drapes to help keep it cooler longer.

Nothing new here other than the weather. We are setting records almost everyday with the heat. At least its not humid.

Well Sean Connery 007 is on so i guess I will go and watch for a bit. He was kinda funny looking in his youth but i think he is handsome older man now.

catch you later,
Kathy

Afternoon all:

Just a quick hello.....not much going on just a typical busy monday:scared:

Have a good one

denise:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

Since Kathy left the top wide open for me....seems a shame not to take it? :lmao:

All the sweat pouring down my face from the 101.6 temps today blinded me to how close to the top I was:rolleyes1

Tomorrow will be up to 3 degrees hotter so i will be blinded again.:sad2:

So you got me today and probably for the next 3 days as our heat continues, then I will seek my revenge:woohoo::woohoo:
So look out, revenge is sweet:lmao:

Kathy

Hi! I'm just checking in too!

I can't believe your heat Kathy! It has been unseasonably cooler here. We had the hottest day of July yesterday--83 degrees! :thumbsup2

Not much going on around here--just the usual.

Hope everyone is having a great summer! And Kathy, the thermostat turns down a little for 'ya.

Morning Dawn and everyone else.:goodvibes

Didnt sleep much last night. Left the AC on but set it up to 80 so it wouldnt run constant all night. It was till in the 90's at 11 p.m. last night. Finally around 2 a.m. I opened a few windows but it didnt help much, no breeze.

So we both cat napped on and off all night. Pixie was up and down trying to get comfortable too. I think she will probably sleep a lot today.
Headed for 103 today, this is worse than Florida accept the humidity isnt as bad:lmao:
This is really unusual for Oregon.
Dawn I'll trade you forecasts ;) @ more really hot days then we cool off to the 90's then to upper 80s for a bit.:woohoo:

Well i hope your all keeping cool and enjoying your summer.

Denise, don't work too hard today.

I'll check back later if I don't melt away this afternoon:rotfl2:

Kathy

Kathy I feel your pain, it was 113 last night at 7pm.

Sorry haven't been here in a few days but I've been planning my WDW trip:cool1:

I knew I was going to do the Dining Plan but when Free Dining came out I decided to pay $500 for the Deluxe Plan so I had to redo all my dining plans in two days because my 90 mark was Sunday.

Here's where we are eating:
Wolfgang Puck Cafe, Flame Tree, Citricos, Starring Rolls, Beaches and Cream, California Grill, Main Street Bakery, Cosmic Rays, Jiko, Hoop De Doo, Boma, Tutto, Le Cellier, Cape May Clam Bake, Kona Cafe and Ohana.

I think I will get my money's worth but I don't know how we are going to eat all that food.
