Mike won't rebook for this cruise because of DS and high School, so I was thinking Woo or Cheri maybe ya'll could share a room so I could come, Jessalyn and I could share a bunkbed what do you think?

Howdy Bill,
I would love for "The Hammer" to wait on me, but he tried that and now he has a much worse cold than me!!! Last night he shook with bad chills all night. He does seem to be a little better today.

It is funny because we both are trying to help the other person and we arnt well ourselves. You would have to see and hear it to understand. We sound like a couple of old foggies offering to do things we can hardly get up and do.
Guess it is good practice for when we get old. it is a funny sight!!

Minnie is all over us, not wanting us to get out of her sight.
When Peter had that stomach bug she stayed by his bedside. We removed her so she wouldnt catch anything but she kept going back and clawing at the bedroom and bathroom door until she could get in to him. Plus she came to our room to get us up and have us follow her to his room as if she was telling us he was ill.

So now she lays on top of us and stares at our face, sniffing our face everytime we sniff or sneeze. We cant even close the bathroom door when we go in or she goes crazy!!

She is worse than a little kid!! The looks on her face and her actions have been so cute and entertaining for us. Hope to be doing much better by tomarrow.

Gotta get the tree up this weekend.

I would love to see some snow, you can send a little my way. it has been around 8 years since I have seen the white stuff on the ground. It is only around 45 today which is cold for us. suppose to be getting warmer, around 70 for the next few days. I hope so since I have to go outside next week.


Good luck getting others here to post. We have about a dozen families that did post for awhile then just sorta disappeared, now there are only 3 posters besides me and all the Banana heads here.


I thimk they all heard how mean I am and I scared them off !!!

Good morning!

Had two work Christmas parties yesterday, but no plasma t.v. for us!!!!!! Just food & drink. Bummer!

I won a DVD player/home theater system a few years ago in a raffle (my mom actually paid for my ticket). That's about it for my luck.

We're finally going to hit mid-30s here today! How sad is that--excited about highs in the 30s and lows in the upper 20s??

Thanks for the advice on booking an 08 cruise now. If I didn't have to cough up $750 for a deposit right away, I'd be on it in a heartbeat. I'll try to convince DH that we should be making a move in the next couple of months. Wish me luck!!!!

Going to try to get the Christmas decorations up today. I did nothing before we left and haven't had any spare time this week. Our (my) tradition is to watch A Christmas Story while I decorate the tree. (DD will help for a while and DH will periodically check my progress when he comes downstairs from his "batcave.")

I collect angel ornaments (my aunt used to own a Hallmark store) so 80% of our tree decorations are Hallmark angels that I received as gifts for the past 26+ years. The rest are Winnie the Pooh, Ziggy, Hallmark "cast-offs" from my aunt (think of Chickens that cluck the tune of Jingle Bells , some little elf that incessantly hammers some toy, etc.!) and the ornaments DH & DD have received from my mom and my grandma. I could probably pay the cruise deposit if I sold all the ornaments on E-Bay!!!!!

Better get moving! DD has to go to a birthday party today and I haven't bought the gift yet!!!!!!!

Sounds great!!! Maybe if you chip in just a little $$$, and we add that to the money Shell said she'd collect for us to get out of steerage, I won't have to shovel so much coal during this cruise, and we can actually hang out!

Good day today!

Jessalyn went to a birthday party today so I was able to wrap some of her Christmas presents. (I actually bought a bunch this morning while I was shopping for the birthday girl's gifts.) Unfortunately, I can't find some of things I bought a few months ago!

Parents: having an observant child with a memory like an elephant isn't always a good thing! There are so many times when she'll look in a closet and notice a teeny-weeny bit of a bag poking out from amongst the closet contents. She'll then ask, "Mommy, what's that? That wasn't there before." I try to distract her and get out of there ASAP. Because of all that, my hiding places have had to become more creative. Too bad I don't remember which creative places I put some of the things!!!! Wish my semi-pachyderm-like memory would kick in about now. . .

One other thing I was going to share: if you're looking for something Disney for Christmas or whatever, I stumbled upon a site today. I Googled "Mickey Mouse wine glasses" hoping to find the ones I had seen in the Orlando airport. I found a site and they are offering a discount to buyers who used Google to find them. Discount ends tomorrow. . .

Morning all,

well we have decided no matter how we feel the tree will go up today. Hope Minnie leaves it up! She is so curious and it gets her in trouble sometimes.

Yesterday she was giving me some problems on our walk. I scolded her and corrected her a few times, but she still kept being bad, so I gently swatted her botton with my hand. She fell flat to the ground and her ears were back, her tail between her legs and her eyes were starting to well up.
You would of thought I had beat her or something. That was the first time I ever swatted her with my hand, but it was very gentle, I promise.
I had to pet and talk to her for 10 minutes before she would get up. Then every 15 steps she would stop and lick my hand wanting me to re assure her it was ok I guess.
Guess I wont do that again!! She gets tramatized so easy. I forgot she had been beaten by past owners, then I felt aweful. Today she seems back to normal, but she pouted and flinched everytime I came near her all evening.

Hopefully todays walk will be better for both of us.

I missed seeing it out my window. My head was hurting from my cold and I went to bed about 8 P.M. and completely forgot about it until this morning when I saw it on the news
I still cant believe i missed it. Night launches are so cool, they just look like a giant fireball in the sky!!!

Oh well, maybe next time.

I will be looking forward to seeing your hat on the cruise. Mine are always a work in progress. I change them often.

Time to finally put up the tree. YEAH!!!
