Hi everybody! Beautiful day here too! Supposed to be in the 60s......FINALLY! Supposed to be warmer tomorrow and I think up to 70 by Saturday or Sunday. :woohoo: That's perfect weather.....anything above 80 and I'm absolutely miserable. But I think it's safe to say winter is gone. YIPPEE!!!!!!!!

Don't say that out loud!!! :rotfl2:

Chiana (doggie) and I are having a rough morning. She's terrified the little day care girls from next door are going to eat her, so she's been yelling at them as they ride back and forth on the sidewalk. I finally took her outside to the front lawn in a harness and leash, and the littlest girl was terrified of Chiana... *argh* So I stayed outside with her until she chilled out (nowhere near the girls, and they still decided to go to the other side of their house versus by Chiana), took her back inside, and then the high school kids came home for lunch (house on the other side of me), and she started yelling again.

Bear in mind, both sides of people have been living here for months... So this yelling is a frequent occurence. Chiana doesn't like the high school kids because they smoke/smoked (she hates smokers and loves to yell at them), and she was also the warning system for the Mom of the high school kids when they were sneaking out at night. Now, the under-5 crowd... I don't know why she's scared of them, other than they are in front of her house.

Either way, she was being noisy and rude. She's STILL huffing, quite offended, downstairs. *shaking my head*

Have I mentioned my brat is the size of a beagle and good-natured with our 2 year old? She even lets Fiona and Fiona's BFF, Abby, walk her in the house on a leash... Two leashes, 2 toddlers, one dog. You can imagine how well that works.

Brandie,
you really got your hands full:goodvibes

I would love to see 2 harnesses and leashes walking down the sidwalk for a walk. That would be great!!:rotfl2:
I used to use a harness on my little ones too, especially after i had 4 of them running all directions:scared:

Good luck!!

*chuckle* No, the two toddlers were just in the house... seeing as they couldn't decide to go in the same direction and go out the front door!!! :rotfl: We finally got the 2 of them in the Princess cart (and I took Chiana) for the walk around the lake.

Chiana's finally settled down in the sun for her afternoon nap, so my house is finally quiet. The birds are chirping, and the dogwood (??) outside my bedroom window is in full bloom--gorgeous! Beautiful sunshiny skies.

I love Denver! :goodvibes

Howdy, although we live close enough to drive we will be getting a hotel the night before, just makes for an easier morning on saturday.
We are staying at The Radisson. It is an older hotel but clean and has a great pool area. It took us 4 minutes to drive from the hotel to the port.
They also offer a shuttle to the port for those who need it.

There are a few others that are nice too.
The newest is The Country Inn and Suites, Ron Jons, The Residence Inn.
All are nice and close to the port. Ron Jon's is the farthest away, the others are almost side by side.
I would make a reservation within the next 2 months so you can have the choice of places. People do book out a few months because Friday gets filled up at most of those hotels because 3 ships are in port saturday. That is a lot of people to need rooms over night.

Looks like you all ARE stuck with the Lampy family! Jessica is taking 2 college classes next year and the Friday we would fly out for the Turkeyday sailing she will probably have exams......Booked airfare today, airtran out of Indy. 720 for the 4 of us! Leaving Thursday morning and going to spending Thursday and Friday with Willie Miller family......I'm booking BC Monday........

Aw, you'll be ready! Just throw a bunch of clothes in a suitcase and head out the door. Yup, I have a very relaxed method of packing. :rotfl:
