Looks like a great weekend on tap here in northern IL. No major plans, just sit and drink mojitos!!

Jessalyn will be visited by the tooth fairy any day now -- one of her front teeth is just dangling by the proverbial thread. Good to know what the going rate for a tooth is these days. I had already forgotten from last fall! Must be old age setting into my brain

Here's a little something to start your weekend ...

A blonde calls her boyfriend and says, "please come over here and help me. I have a killer jigsaw puzzle and I can't figure out how to get it started". Her boyfriend asks, "what is it supposed to be when it's finished?" The blonde says, "according to the picture on the box, it's a tiger." Her boyfriend decides to go over and help with the puzzle. She lets him in and shows him where she has the puzzle spread all over the table. He studies the pieces for a moment, then looks at the box, then turns to her and says, "first of all, no matter what we do, we're not going to be able to assemble these pieces into anything resembling a tiger." He takes her hand and says, "second, I want you to relax. Let's have a nice cup of tea, and then," he sighed... "let's put all these Frosted Flakes back in the box."​

Great day here in N.W. Indiana!!! Going to get the boat out of storage tomorrow morning and be cruising by noon!!!! Summer is here!

I just watched the Magic pull out. It was nice and sunny but quite windy today.
Just a few more months and it will be us on board waving at the people along the shore as we sail off to sea

Morning all,
well the men are off riding quads. My son Randy has never riden one so they are taking him out to learn to ride.
SO I am dog sitting today.
Poncho has been great, but minnie threw 3 fits of jealousy this morning when Poncho came near Greg!!! She has never done that before and Poncho has been here a few times now. Now that he is gone both dogs are just lauing down and relaxing, although Minnie is hiding under the end table where she is sulking about getting in trouble.

I will take them both outside to play ball after I finish breakfast. They both do well with sharing toys together, so that should work out ok. If I have any more problems I will just put minnie in the bedroom for a time out.

I dont want my fingers looking like Denise's did after her dog problems

I may not have time to post until tonight so you guys will have to keep us bumped up without me for awhile.

WOOHOO! I think yesterday was about as close to perfect as one can get without being on a DCL. My day was like this:

1. Slept in
2. 1-hour massage
3. Painted toenails
4. Went shopping for a special birthday gift
5. Dinner at Cheeseburger in Paradise
6. Got to sing Cheeseburger in Paradise with restaurant staff
7. Had my first mojito since the cruise (I haven't trusted anyplace to do it right!). BTW ... it was a Pineapple mojito made with pineapple rum. mmmmmmmmmm I toasted to all my fellow Banana Heads.
8. Got to go to DSW for some SERIOUS shoe-shopping after dinner (Bill says we were there for 1/2 hour, but I swear it was on 10 or 15 minutes ... that place must be like a time-warp for me)
9. Lastly, finally had shorts weather here, so a beautiful day with clear blue skies, sun and no rain/snow/clouds

Now how much better can it get when you're in OHIO?!

TODAY we are forecasted to be at 77!! This is sooooo AWESOME!!! Lots of yard work on the agenda. Other than that, Bill and I are arguing about who the manager at a restaurant we went to last weekend looks like. He says Boris Karloff, I say Solozzo from The Godfather. It's that kind of stuff that keeps the marriage spicy

Welcome Michele! My daughters don't hit your age ranges as my oldest is 8 - and she is also seeking an email pal b4 cruise date! I'm sure as more folks sign on. we'll all have new "friends."
