Too cute! I love little ones! Mine used to be cute, but I wouldn't dare use that terminology now!

:lmao: Alicia(3) always informs me she is not cute...she is beautiful:sad2: I am going to be in big trouble when she gets older....

Her and Alex would make quite the pair...:lmao:
At least we know they're not suffering from low self esteem!

Bob,

Is that article one of the teaching aids you use when you teach your couple class at church??:lmao:
I am afraid I failed the good wife test, thank goodness.:goodvibes

Ok ladies,
what are some things we could put down for a Good husbands guide??
I think we deserve equal time here, what do you think??

1. A good husband would volunteer to get up at night with the baby to feed and change him while you got some well deserved rest.

2. A good husband should ALWAYS remember to put the "seat down "for his wife and kids.

3. A good husband should NEVER get upset if his wife runs a little late. He should be thrilled she is getting all dressed nice for him. Lets see how long it takes him to put on pantyhose and make up while taking care of kids, the dog and find his keys which he always seems to loose.

4. A good husband would invite his mother in law to come for a visit.

what can you add to the list??
Remember this is a family board:lmao:
Kathy

A good husband would tell his wife everyday "My, have you lost weight? You look fabulous! I think you are even thinner than this morning! Can I get you a drink?" :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

O.K., who is staying where prior to our sailing?????? Kimwants to have Thanksgiving with her Mom......we haven't done that since 2001, always been out of town! If that is the case I cancell my Dolphin stay and fly out Friday afternoon and stay at MCO Hyatt.....would like to go Thanksgiving and have a few at WDW or Ron Jon but................

I have to book the cruise first....:rotfl2:

A good husband would say "Honey, why don't I watch the kids tonight and YOU can go out with your friends..."

Hi Kathy!

My first name is Wendyleigh, dh Michael, and dd's Maiya (5 1/2) and Catey (5). We are really getting excited now - I spent hours on disboards last night and found all sorts of things. And of course, I have all sorts of questions and plans to make . . .

Our girls can't wait to leave - they ask every day, "How long until the Mickey Boat?". I have told them we are spending another week at SSR after the cruise, but they are focused on the beach and the ship - they love it!

Jaime - not sure about their homework yet but i like the drawing a picture idea for a daily journal :) Might have to suggest it to their teachers . . .

My dh loves the list I am gathering about fav things to do as grownups - the last time we were on the Magic, our girls were 2 1/2 and 2 so we didnt' get to do a lot. They DID NOT have tequila tasting - how do i sign him up for that? He keeps saying how many days until his season is over - i swear, he would pack today if he thought it would speed things up!

Gotta go see my next client, but will check in later tonight - might have to make disboards my home page so i can catch up on posts :)

:cool1:

Hi Wendyleigh...your girls are beautiful...my girls ask me every morning how many days to Mickey's boat too! I am going to use our Christmas countdown calendar starting next week to let them countdown for the trip...I really like the journal idea too...it will make a nice keepsake...and her teacher is going to get her to share her "story" with the class when she gets back...

Soo... Cheri...
Are you looking forward to the Office tonight?

Where are you? Cheri???

Hellooooooo....

A good husband would tell his wife everyday "My, have you lost weight? You look fabulous! I think you are even thinner than this morning! Can I get you a drink?" :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

That's a good one, Christine!!!

Having a countdown calendar is a great idea!!:thumbsup2 I think maybe I'll print one out and let Alex put an X on it every day or something!

My coworker drew a "mickey boat" on her dry erase board and put the number of days I still have to work on it. (What a team player!) We counted down this summer before she took her trip to Jamaicia.

Okay...myself and the girls just made "real" chocolate chip cookies for Kierra's Halloween party tonight...no mix...they are yummy...not good for my weight loss though:sad2:

okay I just realized what strange food combo I love...choclate chip cookies and orange juice...

Yeah and a good husband who asks questions like this can expect to get these answers..

A good husband would tell his wife everyday "My, have you lost weight? Do you think I NEED to lose weight?

You look fabulous! I think you are even thinner than this morning! So, I was fat this MORNING?

Can I get you a drink?" :rotfl2: :rotfl2:Why do you think I NEED a drink?

Orange juice really tastes bad with a lot of stuff.

How about orange juice after you just brushed your teeth!:scared1:

Not sure why but I always had a glass of orange juice when eating choclate chip cookies...and milk when eating deep fried foods...I usually never drink juice:confused3

Howdy Nanas.....

Back from my carotid ultrasound and Opthomologist appt. Ultrasound-normal:cool1: Opthomologist retested my vision-finally reviels that I can't see in my right peripheral vision from about 3pm-6pm--not the actual time you guys...I mean as the hands on the clock.....duh!! Now have an appointment at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philly next week with a Neuro-Opthomologist :confused3 never heard of this specialty...all I was glad to know, was that a test finally showed that I'm not just simply out of my mind!! :woohoo: Not that I want anything wrong, it's just nice to have that confermation.

Those of you with the teen DD's....my DD would like to get to know them before the cruise via my space if poss....anyone interested? you can pm me.

Off to the laundrymat :laundy: .....
