OK...so it looks like I am in the minority but I just don't get The Office I have tried to watch it a few times and could only stand it for a few minutes. What am I missing????

My favorite TV shows are Heros, Dancing with the Stars and of course American Idol. I also love What Not to Wear.

OH!! I forgot about Heroes! We watched that one last year too. That was another one we both sat down and watched!!

The Office - You really have to be into sarcasm I think. And you really have to listen and watch closely because if you just kind of are half-watching it you miss the little stuff. That's why I think it took DH a while to catch on because he would only half be watching it half working on the computer and I'd be laughing my &*#& off and he'd think it was dumb. But to each his own of course!

Mutt- We have weekend birthdays this year!! I'm going out after work with the girls and then DH is going to catch up with us! This is exciting for me... I don't get out much .

Bill - they canceled the day of...due to "heavy" surf. They seem to be having problems with the operators of parasailing I believe. But it's strange that people are booking in the months all around our sailing, but we can't. Oh well more cash for cocktails.

I had the same thing happen. This is the 1st time I never noticed the boat was moving too! And I WASN'T drinking... pregnant.

I think with all the excitement of the party it took a little to register.

Oh, Melanie....it wasn't so bad. We had a belly full of Parrot Cay buffet, a couple margaritas under our belt, had met some of the nicest people we'd ever encountered and were sailing away to caribbean isles. Can a lil rain really dampen that? (yeah, I know...outside is better but it was still pretty good---sure beat the hell out of 37 degrees, a light frost and grey Ohio skies).

and I'm not in the mood to work...here is a bonus picture of the day. This is from "Til we meet again" at the end of the cruise..which Mina and I attended along because Elizabeth was in the club and not interested in coming out and Emily was sleeping in Flounders. Suffice it to say that if your child likes characters and princesses and can stay up for this, you must go to it. I saw kids get dozens of autographs and photos. Plus it was pretty fun (and a little schmaltzy) but still put a lump in my throat!

It's probably apparent that I don't feel much like working either. Although I have lots to do!! But I am just so excited for Alex to see all the characters because last time he was so young and had no clue who any of them were.

It is a little different for boys though. They need to have spiderman and superman too. Alex is really into superheros. Maybe Disney needs to buy out Marvel comics...
