Yes the hyatt regency, it is pricey but I figured so convenient. Not sure how to get to the port yet. We used one of the limo services before and loved it, we rented a car last time and dh wasn't thrilled with the dropping off and him still having to take the car back. How are you getting there?

We (and (I think) Jeff - jd99) are staying at the Hyatt & taking the DCL buses. It's more expensive, but sooooo convenient! You put your bags outside your hotel room door in the morning and you don't have to deal with them again until you pull them inside your stateroom onboard. You watch a video about the cruise on the way there and then you're dropped off right at the front door. My usually cost-conscious, travel-savvy DH liked this method last year (much to my surprise!!).

The main downside is that you can't stop off anywhere to get last minute items.

I can already smell the popcorn as I walk down mainstreet, hear the whistle blow at the train station, and somewhere I hear the call of drums pulling me ever closer to the greatest of them all POTC, "I'm coming Johnny, I'm coming................."

Our favorite show is The Office! I have my trusty The Office calendar hanging by my desk. Today's the last day of having Dwight Shrute looking at me! Next month is Pam & Jim!

Season 3 comes out on Sept. 4 and I told DH that would make a perfect b-day gift for me. Then he had to go out and buy me a laptop instead.

OK, so here's the set up. For Office fans, you'll remember that Dwight's stapler came up missing and was mystically found suspended in Jello. Well, taking my cue, I took my co-worker's stapler home with me one Thursday, and this is what she came into on Monday morning:

The best part is, on Friday, she was looking everywhere for her stapler! She looked at me and said, "Now who in the world would steal a stapler?" I gave my best innocent look and said, "Gosh, I don't know!" knowing full well it was on my kitchen countertop

LESSON LEARNED: It was kinda like Mythbusters. The jello on TV is not real jello as real jello cannot suspend a heavy object like a stapler. Remember that kids.

OMG! Reminds me of some of the stuff Chris & I used to do when we worked together at the magazine before we were married!! We had regular rubberband wars there. One time I stole a beanie baby shark he had and took it everywhere with me and photographed it in strange places. Then gave him a photo album with all the photos in it. (By the way one of the places I took it was Disney World.)

Yes... this sort of behavior got me my husband.

I think the Office cannot help but appeal to anyone who's worked in one (or more)!! I own The Office season 2, I bought it thinking I'd watch it in the camper on vacation after the little ones went to sleep, but it didn't work out well because we didn't end up having hookups most of the time so... no power!

I want to get season 3 for my birthday because it comes out right before!! That reminds me I need to mention that to DH...

And yes in Wendyland, Angelina is not taking the Brad -wendy relationship well at all I guess we will need a bigger cabin if he takes all the kids on the cruise with us

Bill & I used to leave notes in each other's mailbox back when we were teaching (before we were married). Gosh, now that I got him, the best I get is an occasional email!

Our daughter also loves The Office, but I knew we were in trouble the day she quoted, "Downsizing is a b!#(h."!!!"

A couple of my favorite episodes are 'The Injury" (where Michael grills his foot) and "The Client" (where Jan & Mike hook up for the first time).

Well it finally happened as some of you know my mom falls alot - and thank God had never broken anything...until last night..she fell and hit her head on the closet door and couldn't get back up...broke her neck at C2-which I think is the same place as Christopher Reeve had broken. Lucky for her, it didn't impinge on her spinal cord. Waiting for the neurosurgeon to see her to see what will be done...they have very strick visiting hours as it is an intensive care unit so I thought I would hop online and tell you guys about it. Thanks for listening

Oh, and don't think my son's comment about me cooking has gone unnoticed..it's kibbles and bits for him tonight...and NO it's not my specialty

My birthday is September 14. I'll be REALLY old.

I like the episode of the Office that aired last night. I got to watch MOST of it... with occasional kid interruptions. (this is why I need the dvd.) It is the one where Phyliss get's flashed. I love the part when Michael takes the girls on an outing they give him relationship advice and he takes them to Victoria's Secret.

Anyone know why parasailing is not offered on our sailing at CC? I noticed on the main board that it is not being offered right now..but that others have been able to book it in October and December. What's wrong with November?
