Must be an Iowa wedding -- I didn't think anyone got married on Game Day in Nebraska!

Does he charge extra for a wedding that interferes with a Husker game???

No, otherwise he would have charged last week for sure!!

This is actually a vow renewal type of deal so it's only a few hours in the evening, not so bad as a regular wedding. He's got weddings 5 weeks in a row so I think he's getting a little wedding-ed out!

I went to see "The Bourne Ultimatum", I know, it's been out for a while, but I hadn't been to a movie since July! It was a nice break!

Can't wait to see the house. We are having the entire interior painted - finally using some color in our formerly beige house. So far it's looking great.

Can't think of what we'll bring for the regional gift this year. Last year's Terrible Towel was kind of an afterthought when we couldn't come up with anything more creative. Gonna have to scour the malls when I get back.

Birthday weekend officially kicks off tomorrow with Elizabeth's sleepover. Then Mina's birthday on Saturday and Elizabeth's birthday celebration (at home) on Sunday...and her official birthday on Monday. Does that mean she jumps right from 8 to 11? So it's going to be busy busy busy.

Hope the painting went well...we painted our house this spring...the whole house was white when we bought it...it needed color!

We had fun picking out our gift to give...got to go to some little stores on water street that I never go to.

I'm interested in the wine tasting -- Maybe we should make that one of our nana meets. That could help take some of the "serious edge" off of the experience. On the other hand, it could also get us kicked out. . .

Bill, and Josh we have been seriously thinking about watching the ship come in too. We tried last year but couldnt find a place to watch it, but now we have spotted a place to check out. I think it will work ok, we will let you know once we check it out.

Bill, not sure about the time, but Greg says we have docked between 5 and 6 a.m. each time we have cruised, so guess that is the time frame to look at.

If it is just us 4 going we can hop in the truck and run over to the place, our truck seats 6.

I will keep you posted after we check out the dock we saw.
we are always up by 5 a.m. anyway so may as well watch the ship come in and hopefully get some video and still shots of it too. It should look pretty cool with its lights on coming up the channel.

Beautiful day in Michigan. About 75 degrees and clear blue sky.

Welcome home Shell! Guido missed you! He probably doesn't want you out of his sight for a couple of days.

Kathy, It looks like some bad weather went through. A tornado in Eurtis (sp?) where is that?

We'll be heading straight home after the cruise. Wish we could stay longer and visit WDW but the boys don't want to miss any more school.

Afternoon everyone.....hows Saturday doin for you all? We have pretty much perfect weather here....can't imagine many more of these days to come but I can hope. Blue skies, about 77 light wind---nuttin could be finer.....

Kathy...glad to hear that you and Greg may be going with us....the more the merrier---5am I'm pretty sure I can do....no promises but it sounds reasonable.

It'll also give my part of the 5 headed monster a couple of extra hours to sleep.

Ok....time to shower....as our South of the Border friends would say..."I steenk!".
